The fact is that Seth cannot enlist in the military until his probation has been completed. If he were to try to enlist the court documents and the probation documents would show that his probation could be "shortened " by enlisting in the military. The military STRICTLY prohibits anyone from enlisting so as to shorten probation time. One of the questions on the enlistment forms asks this very question. This is not a "Waiverable " item.
