Sevier County Tennessee Jail Human Rights Violations
I heard about an incident that reportedly took place about a month ago. It involved a female guard making an inmate strip down and conduct a rather intimate search on her own person. She was instructed on where to touch and with what hand speed to use, and what to use. And I didn't hear this from an inmate, I heard this from a higher up who was part of the investigation. Destruction of the bridge on Eastgate?
Good. I know that the last few times that I've went over it, I always thought of that horrible bridge by the Walgreens at the Forks of the River intersection. The one that shakes so bad. That was one scary bridge. (Friday Aug 15 | post #6)
A certain hotel in Piegon Forge
I stayed there while my water heater was being replaced a few months ago. Since I use to work in management at other motels, I'm one of those really picky people that notices everything. This place was the cleanest place that I have ever been to. A lot of places around here don't care, but it's obvious that this place still does. Your MIL and the others should be commended. I did tell the manager how pleased I was, but I wonder if they are like most hotels around here. They never pass on the good things, just the bad. Please thank your MIL for me. This is absolutely horrible! I haven't noticed them spraying anything in my area, BUT; I did notice that they have only been through here with the giant blue mower once this summer. Now I know why. Why am I not surprised. It's as if once you become an official of anykind in this county, you lose all of your common sense. (Friday Aug 15 | post #4)
Destruction of the bridge on Eastgate?
I thought they had to close it because it was in much need of repair? Hadn't it become a danger to those using it? Doesn't repairing it mean that our children will be safer? Isn't that more important then the inconvenience? (Wednesday Aug 13 | post #3)
Religion from the eyes of a 10 yr. old

A certain hotel in Piegon Forge
I use to work for the guy who owned this. He also owns The Toni, and MainStay. It's ok. Nothing grand though. It's right on the strip and it does have good parking. I would request not to be put into a room that faces the back though. The back has a nice view of the river, but it's right on the street and the lighting is not that great. Ok, I'm butting in on this topic. I love this game. What are the rules? (Wednesday Aug 13 | post #310)
Religion from the eyes of a 10 yr. old
I have a subject that I would love to see discussed here. Yesterday, my nephew, who is 10, approached me and asked me what faith I was. I told him that I was a Southern Baptist. He asked me what that meant. I explained it to him, and he then asked me a question that has me a bit baffled. He asked me how did I know that being a southern Baptist was the right thing? How did I know that that was what Jesus wanted, and what made my religion the right one. He asked how could I say that all other religions were wrong? And did being a certain faith mean that all others who believe otherwise were going to go to hell because they were wrong? So that got me to thinking….What does give me the right to say that my faith is the “right” faith? Does believing a certain faith mean that all others who believe otherwise are wrong, and they are automatically going to hell? I would love to hear what others thought about this subject. Should all states be made to legalize gay marriage
Well you aren't exactly giving us much in the way of choices on this poll, are you? Talk about one sided.... As far as legalizing it goes, I say to each his own. It's not for me, but if your gay, straight, bisexual, or whatever, who am I to say that it's wrong or immoral? (Wednesday Aug 13 | post #9)
Sevier County Tennessee Jail Human Rights Violations
Thanks! Actually, I didn't vote for Hoss. Not sure what "fap hit a nerve sevir gal" means, but alrighty then. It's not my fault that people didn't go vote. Sorry you're such an unhappy individual. I hope that things improve for you soon. (Friday Aug 8 | post #94)
