St. Paul / Bystanders hurt in police chase sue cops, city

There is zero doubt that the cops created this situation. They lost control of their controlled buy, and now the lives of innocent people are irreversibly altered. This couple absolutely deserves relief from the courts. Why should they have to pay for the cops mistakes in pain and pocketbook?  (Aug 4, 2009 | post #7)

Boaters in hot water for trailer-loading technique

All of it? Does Seattle now constitute "Global" ? Hey, it's 500 degrees in my oven. Does that count? No? Well neither does an insignificant outlying statistic such as Seattle. Thats weather, not climate! We are in the midst of the year without a summer, and the GW fruitcakes point to the one city in the nation that is warmer than average and scream about the sky falling. Um, yeah, just back away slowly, don't make eye contact....  (Aug 3, 2009 | post #54)

Episcopal Church considers lesbian for Bishop of Minnesota

Mrs R, Have you ever seen the movie "Boondock Saints"? Great flick, full of one liners and jokes that would totally inflame your delicate sensibilities. I'll paraphrase one I think applies to you (use your imagination on the *'d words): Rocco: "Shut your fat ***, Rayvie! I can't buy a pack of smokes without runnin' into nine guys you **** **!"  (Aug 3, 2009 | post #37)

Episcopal Church considers lesbian for Bishop of Minnesota

Well there was that ONE priest in Miami dating a woman (gasp!). Oh wait, she was 40, not 14. From prison to pulpit, there does seem to be quite a bit of abuse coming from the fruitcakes.  (Aug 3, 2009 | post #31)

Boaters in hot water for trailer-loading technique

I once saw a guy power load his boat, happily jump in his truck, pull out of the water and BANG! Drops the boat right on the concrete. Naturally this upset him, so he punched his windshield and cracked it pretty good. I think I laughed for 10 minutes.  (Aug 3, 2009 | post #44)

No. 3 Republican to back Sotomayor for high court

I'll wager a kidney that Ted Kaczynski has a higher IQ than Sotomayor, Obama or Biden.  (Jul 30, 2009 | post #5)

Ruben Rosario: Let's hope maturity is on agenda at suds summit

"I would have all three men head over to a bodega in D.C., buy a 40-ounce bottle of Colt .45 malt liquor, then share swigs while sitting on the White House stoop instead of at a picnic table. And I would highly recommend they keep the bottle hidden in a large brown paper bag, just in case the po-po or the Secret Service are out and about" Ruben that was hilarious! But I think Obama prefers old E 800 cuz thats his brand, he'll take it in a bottle, 40, quart or can.  (Jul 30, 2009 | post #14)

No. 3 Republican to back Sotomayor for high court

What a coward. The dems lined up against Bush's nominee's for purely ideological purposes. There is absolutely no reason to believe they will not do the same to the next republican presidents nominee's, so there is no point in treating dem nominees any different than they treated Bush's nominees. It was the dems who strayed from the past precedent of confirming whoever the president nominated, regardless of the presidents party. It started with Bork, I believe. Hold the dems to the same standard.  (Jul 30, 2009 | post #1)
