Panera Bread to hold school supply drive
Yaaay Panera! I was happy to see this article on here, especially since I am an employee there and know first hand how involved Panera is in the community. I may not have the highest paying job but Panera is by far the best place I have ever worked and the fact they are socially conscious makes it that much better...Im one of the lucky few who loves my job. If the good decent families run out of Branson because its starting to change then good luck for them finding somewhere that will always be a Utopia. Do you even realize how ignorant you sound? first of all Nelly is from Saint Louis not L.A. second I hardly think the crowd is going to consist of a bunch of gang bangers and trigger happy idiots. You sound like a racist biggot to me...so you dont think Kirby Van Birch has lowered the standards of Branson? why because he's white? who cares what the race is...people will be coming from all parts of Southern Mo to see Nelly people bring money+ people spend money at venue+venue is in Branson= Money for Branson! simple addition my friend. The visitor demographic of Branson is mostly elderly people, but the elderly that were of the era that our shows represent are slowly dying, Branson needs to change the way it attracts people and bring in a new age group if we keep depending on nostalgia to bring people back, well thats just a dead end road. Whether or not Nelly caters to my taste I hope he is welcomed warmly to Branson...Ive seen many people be rude to someone outside the bible belt "norm" because they didn't fit into the conservative ideal...It wouldn't kill these people to at least be open minded and civil to a visiting artist. The other day my boyfriend and I pulled into Petco to get supplies for our dogs. When we looked at the truck next to us we saw that there was a dog inside and ALL the windows were rolled up. (it was at least 98 degrees outside) After we had called the animal control we waited ten agonizing minutes while this poor dog suffered inside. After the they arrived they took the temperature That was inside the truck and it was 110 degrees. We were furious that someone could be so cruel. Yet thats not the only time we have seen mistreatment of animals. We live in Rockaway and see many dogs chained all day with no protection or provisions. Im asking anybody in Rockaway beach who owns an animal that they take every precaution so that their dog or cat is not harmed or miserable. Ive only been here a year but its the most cases of mistreatment Ive ever seen. Im not sure if its lack of education or compassion. But if you can not take care of your animal please try to find a home where someone can provide a safe and happy enviroment. (Jul 4, 2010 | post #1)

Branson Is actually a pretty great place...all the locals I've met are pretty nice...I work right in town...I think the problem...(and yes I know they are our income source) are the visitors...not all mind you but a high percentage are rude...snobby...senile...and the worst drivers ever! definately a necessary evil... This Obama guy out to DESTROY America-WAIT and SEE
My Opinion is that Obama got swept up in the "Winds of Change" movement and although he may have started out somewhat earnest he got up on that high horse mighty fast...I think all his supporters were feeling disenchanted with the bush administration, and the Good Ol boy system that they created a mass movement of Change and Reform...He was their golden ticket...I think by now everyone is noticing he was just an smooth talking flash in the pan...and he believed he was going to Change the Government. BUt after the excitement wore down (pretty much the day after the inauguration) He had to face the fact as well as his supporters, that he was not the Messiah of Capitol hill...And now though he may not be proactivly trying to destroy America he is not trying to save it either...He has the Aura of a man who hates his job and will spout out false sympathy rhetoric to the public so he can slide out of the limelight and leave the people to the wolves...Obama is a puppet but he's willing to go along because hes still carrying an egotistical chip on his shoulders and resents the fact he has to put his nose to the grindstone instead of sitting on a throne all day...
