Since I am a person of means, I looked at these condos with a possible interest in purchasing one. They were all very small, which is interesting since this is new construction and not renovated space. IIRC, the largest of these shoeboxes was priced at $750K and boasted perhaps 2000 sq ft. This is what you could expect to pay for a similar condo in gentrified Brooklyn. I don't know if the Crackron condos have adjusted their pricing since the market crash. I thought if I waited it out, I'd be able to get one for about $50K. Do you know what kind of spacious home one could buy for $750K in one of Akron's tonier suburbs? One would be a fool to squander one's money on one of these shoeboxes.  (7 hrs ago | post #13)
