Shaker Pizza

I have eaten at Shaker's several times and love it. I have never had any trouble with my order being wrong, nor have I found any hair in my food. The food is cheap and really good. It is probably the best pizza I have eaten in a long time.  (Saturday Jul 26 | post #75)

what women do u think is fat in london

There are many risk factors to cancer. Obesity is a risk factor to many things, but I am a nurse and I have never heard that it is a risk factor to cancer, especially bone cancer. I did however have a friend that was so obese that he got a bone disease that caused his bones to disintegrate and he had to have weight loss surgery to even give him a chance to being ambulatory again. However, it was to late. He lost the weight, but it was to late for his feet. It wasn't cancer though.  (Thursday Jul 24 | post #41)

Richmond Centre

Anyone know if the Richmond Centre development is going to have an American Eagle, Aeropostale or any other famous brand clothing store in it?  (Monday Jul 21 | post #1)

Reno's

I always liked the Renos in Corbin, still I have to question the logic opening a steak house so close to Shiloes.  (Monday Jul 21 | post #15)

Any plans for improving London's retail

The City officials need to take the same approach Richmond has taken when it comes to recruiting new businesses. They looked at the surrounding counties and saw the opportunity to draw shoppers in by creating a retail destination (scheduled to open in Oct.). London is a mirror image of Richmond, and needs to take advantage of all the smaller surrounding towns that are full of people that would love not having to drive 2 hours to do some shopping. Lets keep eastern Ky dollars in eastern Ky and create some jobs in the process.  (Monday Jul 21 | post #8)

Pattie A. Clay Hospital

You know that Staph runs rampid at SJE don't you? Especially in the newborn nursery. I agree that the hospital as a whole is a great place to go and I take my children to Kids Trax, but I chose to use PAC for my delivery because like I said, it's much different when you see it from the other side. I worked at SJE on the Orthopedic floor for a while when I first got out of Nursing school and it was great...but not the nursery. Long fingernails and babies don't mix. My nephew was born there and came home with a staph infection from a scratch that he got from a nurses fingernail. Scary!  (Monday Jul 21 | post #25)

Pattie A. Clay Hospital

I worked on the Women's Care Center floor at PAC for over a year and there were no deaths. No babies died, no adults died as a result of the care that they received. The care that they give on the 2nd floor is top of the line. I had my baby there long after I left because I trusted that myself and my baby would be in great hands. He and I were both sent home healthy and happy. How many babies have you birthed at PAC? From the amount of posts that I see from you, it looks like you are someone that may need to get a life and a job instead of spending your day spreading untrue gossip. Maybe you could spend some of your free time studying for your GED or at least doing some phonics so you don't look so stupid on here. I don't care if you bash the hospital, but leave the Women's Care Center out of it, because they are in a whole different league.  (Monday Jul 21 | post #24)

My point exactly. I hate having to drive 80 miles to spend my money.  (Monday Jul 21 | post #5)

Any plans for improving London's retail

Wal-Mart having two supercenters less than 15 miles from each-other shows the area has the consumer demand for goods, but they do not offer the shopping experience I'm looking for. If you've ever been to Hamburg in Lexington, that's what I'm referring to. A place where you can spend your time browsing different types of shops, have a nice lunch or dinner, and catch a movie all without having to get in your car and drive.  (Monday Jul 21 | post #3)

Eight blacks beat father, sexually assault 12YO daughter

Just another case of uneducated, disrespectful punks trying to express their superiority with violence. Funny how the cowardly bast**ds always attack in groups, but then again a one on one altercation would be to civilized, and there's nothing civilized about these people. If the black community ever wants opinions and stereotypes to change, these types of actions are going to have to become less common. With the possible coming of our first black President, it's time for the leaders of the black community to stand up and say "enough is enough, we as a people refuse to stand for this anymore". Racism will never die, but it can be reduced greatly if approached from both sides.  (Monday Jul 21 | post #345)
