What Is Switching Mode Power Supply?

Hi Guys, Switching mode power supply (SMPS) is also known as switched mode power supply, an electronic power supply unit (PSU) that uses a switching regulator. Switching mode power supply alternates power transistors between cutoff and saturation. This method is advantageous because it results in better efficiency as the alternating transistor dissipates very little power in the "On" state as well as the "Off" state. So, by taking that much of knowledge I want to more view on switching mode power supply. Thanks and Regards, Rodger Hooks  (Nov 4, 2012 | post #1)

How to Install a Rack Mount?

Hi Guys, As I know that rack mounts are primarily used in studio and live music settings. Constructed from steel, these L-shaped bars have pre-drilled holes on one side to accept rack mount screws. Rack mountable audio gear is installed between a set of rack mounts. This allows the user to stack multiple units of gear in an organized manner while protecting them inside the case or desk containing the rack mounts. But, I have no more idea on installation of rack mount. So anyone having brilliant idea on it, please share with me. Thanks and Regards, Michel Jone  (Nov 4, 2012 | post #1)
