You know it's racism that makes people think that Ky is the most back-woods place in America..and in some ways, they're probably right...b/c a lot of people around here are racist. I just feel like sometimes, i need to apologize for people's wrong doings and misjudgements about blacks. Even if i don't know the person that is doing the misjudging. I really do apologize to every black person that reads this. Diane Sawyer showed America all the bad places in Ky..she never once showed any good places...other than the coal miner and the football player that i went to school with. If i had a baby, i would never EVER give it any kind of pop...I would give it food before i fed myself! Most people around here would. Just because some people give their kids unhealthy food doesn't mean that everyone from Ky is like that. And you know where Diane Sawyer is from? She's from KENTUCKY! I wish you would just get your head out of your ass! People from Ky do wear shoes and don't have holes in their teeth! You probably just saw the bad parts of our small town. Yeah there are drug heads and alcoholics, but do you honestly think that everyone here is like that? Because i'm not, and i don't hang out with drug heads and alcoholics...No one i know is like that! First off, i'm not one of those people who hate people for not believing what they believe in. There may be a lot of people around here that are like that. But there are a lot of people around here who are not like that. There are a few good sit down restaurants, and a lot of fast food places. There are all kinds of shopping places, maybe no high-end places, but there are shopping places. What town doesn't have drugs? Answer me that. The road sides in Paintsville are not trashy..they are very clean. Maybe you wondered into Van Lear, there are trashy road sides in Van Lear. When you visited Paintsville, did you piss someone off and get your ass kicked? I bet that's why you don't like Paintsville. Many people in Paintsville have lived here their whole lives, like me. And a lot of those people know almost everyone. So when you mess with one person, it's really like your pissing off the whole town. What is there to do in Paintsville in Late Nov?

Your welcome, i like to help people when i can....another place you could visit is the Van Lear Historical Society...it's not in Paintsville, but it's very close to Paintsville..they have all information about Van Lear and how it was back when the town was still young..they might have some info on paintsville too, i'm not sure...then, if you get interested in Van Lear, you can come back in the summer & tour the Loretta Lynn Homeplace.  (Oct 22, 2009 | post #18)

i never really saw her after my interview..so i wouldn't really know! and if she is nice, then she needs to show it when she does the interviews cause that could really scare people off when she acts all mean like that..thats not good for walmart if she keeps intimidating people during interviews...she almost scared me off..i was like "i don't wanna work with her if she's not gonna be nice to me."...so she really needs to show it if she is nice.  (Oct 22, 2009 | post #7)
