I started nursing school in 1990 so that I could help those that were dying of AIDS. My very best friend died in 1993. I know a few people now that are positive and have been for 15 years. They know their limitations when it comes to intimate relations with others and would never harm anyone. HIV is not a racist disease, anyone can contract it, no matter your color, sex,or sexual orientation. It really ticks me off to hear that gays brought AIDs on, or that all gays will die.
