Google the Tashkin study, the largest one to date, in which heavy tobacco smokers' odds of contracting cancer were observed to be 20x that of non-smokers, while cannabis only smokers showed a slightly NEGATIVE "increase " in cancer rate. THC IS the *psychoactive* cannabinoid, the only one which CAUSES the "high". Besides the 27x cost premium, Marinol most notably lacks the cannabinoid CBD which mitigates the psychological effects of THC.
