Top 10 vehicles bought by people trading clunkers

Correct me if I am in error, please. The original reason for the clunker trade in and aid from Uncle was for the purpose of giving American Cars a chance to recover from their great financial tradgedy. Of the ten cars sold in this clunker for new cars deal we have two Fird products and all others of foreign make. So more maneys are going over seas again. Great Idea?  (Aug 19, 2009 | post #2)

What are you doing?

What am I doing? Well I am writing this piece, this worthless jabber. Why ask? Who in fact are you asking? All of us or just someone to talk to? By the way, what have you been doing the past seventeen hours since these last words of wisdom were asked?  (Jul 28, 2009 | post #29)

People

I am very lonely, how about you?

Micheal Jackson was a very lonely person. He had millions in wealth, a great bunch of brothers and a good family and the world was at his doorstep just about all his life. All that wealth and a talent beyond talents others had and he was very lonely. All of those body guards around him and so many people. He had no one to aid or advise him other then those who used and abused him for their own personal gain. In the finality of it all, he is gone now, but not forgotten. You lonely people do not despair, just remember total loneliness will give forth depression in the final end just as it had done to Michael and he is gone now, because of it. Get out and mingle with others. Remember as the song goes, “People who need people are the luckiest people in the world.” If ever a time comes when you are really alone, with no others in this world excepting your self. One person on the earth left, then you can say you are truly alone.  (Jul 9, 2009 | post #652)

Where did the Human Race come from?

Divine Alien, You are from Heaventown Malaysia. Have you met GOD yet? I just have to know. I heard a voice once. It said, like the song "I'll be down to get ya.Honey." No taxi of course, but I am still waiting.  (Jul 6, 2009 | post #343)

Evolution Debate

Where did the Human Race come from?

Devine Alien, You can answer that question yourself by realizing the fact of natures law of use and dis- use. If you did not care to walk your legs would deteriate. If you did not care to speak language would no longer be your means of communication. If you did not care to chew your food your teeth would deteriate. Yes, our kind in the future would look pretty bad of any or all of those things we take for granted were not used to advantage. We will continue to evolve into whatever we wish and some not so good results no doubt will occur. Hereditary factors will of course matter in future generations along with invironmental conditions. Evolution is going on now as we write. It is always making changes as we influence its actions. That future is up to us, to be made proper or broken down into oblivion.  (Jul 5, 2009 | post #328)

Evolution Debate

Where did the Human Race come from?

I REPEAT. What is wrong with telling like it is? The reality of life is a reality we see, feel, smell and we ourselves have the ability above all others of life forms to surmise situations as they exist. Remember man coming down from the tree, to the first realization that a cave kept him from the elements outside. Rain, snow, high winds and animals being a danger to him made him aware that to stay in that cave was not so bad an idea. Ah, but he had to realize that that big bad bear he killed kept himself warm with his fur body all over. He got out his very sharp stone tool and sliced off that bear skin, made himself one hell of a great coat to keep him warmer in those freezing winter months. Wow, what an invention that was. However there really was not enough caves to go around. Better they make some form of cover besides that fur coat. Then he thought, “Why not a bunch of fur coats stitched together to make a covering?” That’s right, the first home for man, a tent. Then onward for many centuries to houses made od wood and monstrous high rises of concrete and steel. Then God giveth forth the wisdom to make MODERN MAN a reality. Look where we are now. Boy are we in trouble.  (Jul 5, 2009 | post #324)

Evolution Debate

Where did the Human Race come from?

Evolution is a fact. THE BEGINNING? Discussions of Darwin and the origin of man is so much like the useless discussions of religion, going no where in the final end. Look at it this way, as I see it. When the earth was formed there were NO LIFE FORMS. There existed rock and boulders and after a fashion of so many millions of years came the erosion of these rocks to make up sand and gravel and finally macrobiotic forms began; most likely the beginning of these forms deriving from the sun. This was namely the algae’s and mosses and lower plant life that propagated in vast amounts on the earth. As those lower of the plant species died they rotted away to mix with the sands and gravels, a natural process of composting. The result was of course soil which covers much of the earth now. Along at the same time as these ingredients that make up earth came about it was essential for water to add to this ingredient to make up life forms. Before the separations of plants from animals the plant forms were here first. Then came the very beginnings of EVOLUTION. Mutations caused new varieties of life forms and it went on like that for so many more millions of years. It is not difficult to understand that life forms propagated in the oceans also. Just like the life forms propagated on the surface of the earth so did they propagate in the waters. However they propagated in the waters in a far different way then on land surfaces. They developed fins for mobility and maneuverability until they became apart of a fixed species. During this process came Darwin’s theory of nature’s law of use and disuse. Applications of new forms superseded others before them to improve the species to cause the struggling for existence to come about to make and break varieties of life as generations of time past. Take into consideration species of animal life. We have the cat family that has varieties from the basic house cat size to the lion. We have the dogs in a similar order such as the small toy breeds to the large great Danes. We have Chickens large and small and horses from the South American small varieties to the largest of the Draft Horses. We could go on of course, like the amphibious varieties such as the salamanders and upper lizards to the crocs and Alligators. Why bother going further? It is obvious evolution caused it. In the eons of time life forms developed just about everything they needed in double. Two upper appendages such as arms and hands formed as well as the lower appendages forming legs. For the most part animal life has two eyes to see with and two ears to hear with and two nostrils in the nose to smell with and a tongue to swallow with which is a single organ. So resulted the senses of sight and smell with added mobility of arms and legs to crawl and finally walk on all fours and in the end to stand straight and walk on two legs as was the case for the humanoids that came to be. Those varieties of animal life came to be by basic environmental and hereditary influences such as man in selection of varieties to mate together to get what they wished in types of animals. The fact is that evolutionary processes for generations made all of the above possible. It took many millions of years. The same case as of the above made man. With the better formed brain and its developed ability for this new variety of primate to think and surmise what they in fact were thinking. The form of the hand and the tongue for developing speech or language made possible inventive instinct, that ability to make use of a better stick to probe or a better rock form to sharpen for tools. From the many varieties of primates we have broken away to form our special species separate from the others. With more of the desirable factors of physical attributes developing we separated from the others and here we are.  (Jul 4, 2009 | post #242)

Evolution Debate

It's the Darwin crowd that lacks the facts in evolution debate

tfj, Humans were not evolved from Apes. However humans and apes were evolved from similar phylums in the evolutionary chain in events of genetic and environmental conditions to give forth what we have today. Need further explainations? Read Darwin.  (Jul 2, 2009 | post #9484)
