Nicely said and thanks. Yes, Faith Only Fundies are going to lose homosexuality just like they lost alcohol, abortion, women, slavery, interracial marriage, birth control and etc etc etc. They are going to loose big time. All the Con-Artists at the front of the church are grasping at any straw claiming CHristianity is under attack blah blah blah, they know gays are going to win, and they know there is nothing they can do to stop it. Get Real: I have no idea what this bantering about the bible is, you either believe it or you don't. ALAN: I'll explain it to you. ALL homophobia has its roots in the Bible. Therefore any discussion about gay rights will attract those who have never read the Bible [ie faith only Christians] who will quote one or two verses like they think no one has ever heard of them before and that doing so will cause homosexuals to immediately say, well if God says it then I will never have gay sex again. As far as believing the Bible, you assume facts NOT in evidence; that the Bible is believable. It is not. Do you believe you can drink deadly poison and that it won't harm you? GodTheBible insists that it is true! GodTheBible: Mark 16:17-18, "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them: they shall lays hands on the sick, and they shall recover." ALAN: If the Bible were true, we would not need hospitals, we would only need Christians to lay their hands on the sick. YOU DON'T REALLY BELIEVE ANY OF THIS NONSENSE DO YOU? I do not know of a single Pew Warmer who would be willing to test the Bible [not test God, but what the Bible says] and drink a quart of Draino to prove the Bible is true and factual. Yet, even while aware of this absurdity in the Bible, faith only Pew Warmers still waltz in here quoting the Bibles homophobia. How is that possible? Am I right that to be a Christians one must have an IQ lower than 80? GET REAL: It's like gay marriage, you either agree with it or you don't, I doubt anyone is going to change anyones mind in here, and I know their not going to change mine. ALAN: Many Pew Warmers can not take in anything except what that con-artist at the front of their church tells them. Not all faith only pew warming Christians are this pig-headed, some can actually start to learn new things. Many Atheists today were once real and true believers who have seen the evidence against the Bible and have seen for themselves why they have to reject the Bible; it is unreliable and can not be trusted. Would you be willing to drink a quart of Draino to prove that you trust God, and show us all that it didn't hurt you? Or are you going to be intelligent and not believe or trust GodTheBible? GETREAL: We live in a free country, and we are allowed to vote as we choose. It's no more complicated then that. ALAN: Voting is mob rule, you believe that voting can change a wrong into a right, it can't. It is WRONG to vote on violating the rights of the minority. You Christians enjoy your special privleges and you are just being mean trying to keep gays down. I know it is all you have left, and that you are going to lose on this one like you have lost on everything else, but the sooner more of you see the evil of voting the quicker we can all enjoy "justice and freedom for all"  (15 min ago | post #3817)

ALAN: Hey Rose, I remember all that too! I was in "wood shop" when I first heard about Kennedy. I loved the Summer of Love. That year I refused to stand and say the pledge because I lived in an all white town that would not let blacks buy homes. I wasn't 10 years old, more like 15, but I understood why my friend had to live outside the city limits and I didn't think it was right or fair. When my father rented them a home you can imagine what hell I went through from all the good white Christians I had to go to school with. I already knew before this the insanity of Christianity, but this was the icing on the cake. Faith Only Christians are the worst people on the earth. They don't care anything about the truth all they care about is their hate. Now that I know how to deal with these astards I try not to miss an opportunity to show them where their Bible fails them. That is honest Rose, and you are under no obligation to prove a negative. Can AbeL prove little green men don't live on the moon? No, of course not. We are not under any obligation to prove that these nut cases assertions aren't real. The only people required to provide proof are those making the claims. For instance someone says, there is a sky santa who if you believe in him will give you anything, [everything] you want. The burden of proof is on he who claims. THEY have to prove such an impossible thing as this Mr. God of theirs actually exists. We are under NO obligation to prove they are wrong. Immediately you learn that the Christian has no proof, no facts and no evidence. They have nothing but hearsay. ALAN: Good reply Rose, AbeL has no proof, you are exactly right, if he had any he would not be able to type fast enough to provide it. All anyone has to do is WATCH the video of the boy expressing himself and it is clear that he is thinking for himself and does not need any adult to put him up to something. Unlike in Christian families where they tell their children to smile so everyone will know they have been with Jesus. Those poor Christian children, it really is child abuse, teaching children to deceive others, no wonder all the pew warmers who visit here think they can get away with being deceitful.
