Thanks for the clarification. When I saw a reference to me, I was confused and concerned that you were saying it was me. (5 hrs ago | post #161)

No worries mike. I find your questions extremely intelligent and your comments both witty and well-written. If you are ever concerned about posting a specific question on here, in lieu of getting beat up by the Morris', feel free to e-mail me any time. If I know the answer, I will give it; if I don't I will say so. (7 hrs ago | post #150)

I believe the wording was "limited personnel issues". This is what is commonly used to discuss personnel matters in an Executive Session. By law, they cannot say that the Executive Session is specific to an individual person (i.e., superintendent, high school principal, etc). That would violate the employees rights. They can only say that they are having a personnel meeting, because unless the employee waives their right to privacy, all personnel matters are confidential. (7 hrs ago | post #148)

Was the public notified of this "closed" meeting's purpose as required by law? Yes, I believe it was. If I remember correctly, both of the meeting notices were placed on the BOE calendar the week prior; so there would be no violation under this portion. (8 hrs ago | post #146)

Unlike yourself, those who have discussed the recall posibility are taking a little bit of time to ensure that things are: a) Done correctly; and b) Researched throughly Should the board members be concerned about a recall? Absolutely. However, in MY PERSONAL OPINION ONLY, I think that the next actions taken by the BOE will be the final determination on if the recall moves forward. I THINK that if the school board takes the action that is now proven to be in the best interest of the district and it's children, no recall will be necessary. However, I could be wrong and the paperwork could be getting a final legal review as I type. (8 hrs ago | post #144)

Mr. Morris, Are you now upset that the PED Hearing Officer did NOT find Mr. Harris guilty of the charges relating to E. Kilmer? What was said and what could be proven seem to have come out as two different things. I believe that Harris knew about Kilmer - but can I prove it; Nope. Doesn't make it not true, just may not be a reason relating to Harris' licensure. Harris, on the other hand, knew about the settlement agreement with RCIDS and FAILED to tell PED. Heck, he even failed to give a copy to the APS BOE. This was proven; license was revoked! (9 hrs ago | post #140)

Have to say that my hubby drove past there today and tonight at dinner asked if I had any idea what the lone-man protest was about. He said that there was one person out there with a sign and two other signs on a fence. Luckily for me, and thanks to Topix, I had a clue that satisfied his curiosity. Now I can stay in the house and away from the snow a little longer. Keep warm everyone. (20 hrs ago | post #8)

Now, back to the topic at hand: What is everyone's feelings about the board offering Mr. Harris a new contract IF he gets his license back? (21 hrs ago | post #121)

As much as I disagree and argue with the Morris on Topix, I would NEVER wish them physical harm. Looks like the people in New Jersey are far worse than here. (22 hrs ago | post #114)

Sorry about calling you Barb...I was mixing up my comments. I know your name. My bad. Are you finally happy now that I admitted I was wrong? Can we get back on topic now? I am bored with you again. (23 hrs ago | post #105)
