Obama wins Nobel Peace Prize

So now it is to be called: A) The Nobel Peace Bribe OR B) The Nobel NotBush Prize? They both work. I don't know which one I prefer.  (Oct 10, 2009 | post #620)

Secret Service probing Facebook poll on Obama

Oh, please! That poll is soooo three months ago. Get some up to date numbers. When light was shone on the details of the House plan and all the ugly critters were seen scurrying around under the face that was being put on it by the immoral and fiscally corrupt house leadership the approval for their plan was as temporay as the moon was in June.  (Sep 28, 2009 | post #23)

Overtime Chapter 4: In Minnesota's Coleman vs. Franken U.S. Sen...

Before anyone congratulates themselves on the demise of ACORN keep in mind that these organizations have a way of growing new heads and staying alive by merely presenting a new face to the public. Stay vigilant. Stay alert. The same players will be on stage with new character names the very next time there is voting to be done.  (Sep 27, 2009 | post #26)

Mondale: Racism does fuel some of Obama criticism

The left which depends upon Orwellian logic to position itself upon the moral high ground claims that "we are all racists" without even knowing it.(As though racism were like a bit of spinach clinging to one's front tooth; seen by others but undetected by one's self.) In this way thye can: 1) excuse their own racism as something INFLICTED UPON them that they would not have chosen for themselves and 2) cast aspersions upon the denial of racism by those whose ability to reason exceeds the left's on every level and in every case. It is so illogical that when we encounter it our tendency is to get caught up in the futility of trying to convince them of their flawed reasoning rather than just telling them that they are wrong, they are offensive, and that their tactic will no longer work. And then we need to move on.  (Sep 26, 2009 | post #288)

Palin says Obama's health care plan is 'evil'

ACORN fired the workers who got caught and then filed a lawsuit against the whistleblowers on behalf of the workers who got fired. ACORN really has all it's bases covered. ACORN sues banks to force them to make loans to people who can't afford the payments and then accuses them of "predatory " lending. They couch everything in newspeakian phraseology in order to send the argument off down a path of irrelevant side issues rather than giving a direct answer on a specific question. Don't be distracted by Darwinian's silly shell game. True conservatives have nothing to lose by turning over all the shells he points to and seeing what is there because the accusations he rattles off like a litany against the "right wing" are as bogus as his "intellectual ism". It will be the shell within the shell that holds the final answer.  (Sep 26, 2009 | post #2542)

Mondale: Racism does fuel some of Obama criticism

Here's another washed-up old Dem who needs to go wash his mouth out with soap and apologize to the general public for being infested with me-too mania and hopping on the butt kissers for Obama bandwagon rather than thinking twice and realizing that what he is saying doesn't make sense and demonizes a heckuva lot of good citizens who deserve better.  (Sep 24, 2009 | post #254)

ACORN fighting back to salvage damaged reputation

You really gotta admire ACORN. It's the first street gang ever to have offices and office staff where aspiring criminals can go to apply for membership. It is obviously an idea whose time has come. Who can argue with success?  (Sep 23, 2009 | post #49)

Ford to make low-cost compact car in India

A year ago, if a conservative wrote a comment supporting a Bush admin. policy the typical response from the militant left was: "I hate Bush. Bush is evil. I want Bush to die!" Today if a conservative writes a comment opposing an Obama admin. policy the typical response from the militant left is:"You hate Obama. You think Obama is evil. You want Obama to die!" It is obvious to me that the militant left knows very little about policy and quite a lot about inflammatory language.  (Sep 23, 2009 | post #22)

Clunker program is wasteful

Mellers is goofy. It is endearing sometimes and exasperating at others. If brains were dynamite, she couldn't blow her nose. If brains were string, she couldn't tie a knot. But she sincerely believes all the BS she posts on here which in a way makes her honest and therefore unlike other left-wing goofs.  (Aug 6, 2009 | post #96)

Clunker program is wasteful

In the case of the townhall meetings it was not so much a case of people wanting to voice their opinions as an attempt to repeat lies and squelch the truth. The dissenters went in armed with FACTS. The response was a "pooh-pooh, you don't know what you're talking about" attitude. Then they would haul out the Pelosi talking points and start right in again with the lies. Who wouldn't voice their displeasure at such reprehensible treatment? Nobody was arrested for an anti-war bumper sticker. You guys keep throwing the former president into the mix here as though there were some relevance. You might as well know that seriously concerned citizens skip right over all the anti-Bush crap you throw in and then discover the flimsiness of your current views. You might want to work on the argument you are making now and leave your past recipe for success in the dumpster.  (Aug 6, 2009 | post #77)
