Insane McKane has just won my vote by calling for an end to this bail out mania. It was Obama his friends and supporters who stole the millions from the mortgage companies Freddie May and Freddie Mac. All left wing liberal Democrats. These bailouts do nothing for the people who are being foreclosed. The dumb people who got in mortgages over their head are still going to be kicked out on to the street. Do not forget that. So who are they helping? These bail out are helping the money lenders. The speculators. The corrupt. The incompetent. The criminally fraudulent traders. Such as Joe Biden’s son. The foreign jewish owned banks. All it does for the working American is add to the bill that some day must be paid with our taxes. This is the dumbest thing in a long line of dumb things that George Bush has done to date. Let the market run its course. Let the Banks fail. Let them eat the cake for a real change. What the Federal Government should do is put enough money in the FDIC to cover the working Americans savings and checking accounts. The FDIC should not assume the money markets. Money markets were not under the FDIC because they made high risk investments and paid higher interest than FDIC insured savings. Let their greed be rewarded with the loss. Heating bills projected to be higher
The price of natural gas is going to go up. You will get a letter from your gas company this month explaining why it will cost you more to heat your house this winter. Could it have anything to do with the Democrats hating coal? Don’t forget that the left wing liberals, 99% of them, Democrats in Congress have passed laws shutting down coal fired generating plants. This means more electricity will have to be made with natural gas. You should have got a letter from your electric company this month explaining that your light bill will be going up, too. This is the policy of the left wing liberal Democrats and our redeemer the blessed one Obama has said that we can no longer have our thermostats set at 72 degrees. Wear a sweater. The left wing liberal Democrats tried in the current Congress to pass legislation sponsored by Barbra Boxer D, CA., that would have gave us $8 dollar gas. It was only prevented by a Republican filibuster. The Democrats did succeed in passing legislation that will raise your eclectic bill. When they talk about lowering the sales tax do not believe it. They are trying to pull one over on you. What Indiana needs is a taxcap such as they have in California and some other states. I do not trust Mitch. I know too many people who used to work at IPL when he was in charge there. They all lost retirement and medical benefits because of him. But, he is talking about changing the constitution to protect the tax cut he got for us last year. What is that all about? We need a tax cap. AND, was it really a tax cut? The Sale Tax is a fairer way to finance local government than property tax or income tax. The trouble with our sales tax is too many individuals and entities are exempt from paying it. This leads to fraud and corruption and is not a fair tax. Every one should pay the sales tax, period. No exemptions for farmers, churches non-profit organizations or any one else. Why should it not apply to legal fees and medical services? I would say it should not apply to food as in states like Florida. (Thursday Sep 11 | post #7)
