VIB Is A Cesspool of Hate

Sam has anger management issues and needs to deal with them if he wants to be successful. Sam is not stupid and has some good ideas but when he goes off on people he loses his ability to be heard. I also wonder if some of his "supporters " are intent on trying to stir things up as they know Sam has disagreements with some of the VIBers.  (Sep 9, 2009 | post #39)

Fire chief fears others may follow Henke's departure

Jed You are an embrassment to my PSU Apologist friends. What you said is the biggest pile of you know what that I have heard in awhile. Its obivious you have never seen the life of FF in big cities who fight real fires, have to deal with high rises etc. Vallejo FFs have raped the taxpayer of Vallejo for years and you want to defend them--go back to your cesspool. Vallejo FFs compensation maybe one of the highest in the US. Their contract is riddled with deals that benefit them and not the taxpayer. Jed,go join Henke he needs more of you who like to distort the truth and screw the taxpayers.  (Sep 8, 2009 | post #27)

Kurt Henke takes job with Metro Fire

read the legacy Henke left (see link below) http://ibvallejo.c om/index.php?optio n=com_content& task=view&id=5 76&Itemid=1 Why can't the TH do these type of stories. I really don't understand why Sacramento hired Henke. Even if he is a good firefighter he is trouble for all concerned.  (Sep 7, 2009 | post #48)

Embattled firefighter, union leader Henke leaving Vallejo

Read this article ( use the link) to see Henkes legacy--it will make you puke http://ibvallejo.c om/index.php?optio n=com_content& task=view&id=5 76&Itemid=1  (Sep 7, 2009 | post #96)

Vallejo's controversial firefighters union chief heading for Sa...

I wish Kurt good luck with the lawsuit by Otto Gulliani--I hope OTTO gets triple damages and Bankrupts Kurt just as Kurt did to Vallejo. Sacramento we owe you--I wonder if Sacramento will try to give him back to Vallejo as soon as they discover Kurts dark side and his bully personality. While Kurt got his boys some of the highest compensation in the US,he forgot that the golden goose will die if overly abused. He overstayed his welcome .Hopefully Kurts departure will start the healing process in Vallejo. The Mayor should issue a proclomation declaring Kurts last in vallejo as Thank you God day.  (Sep 3, 2009 | post #31)

About the pay cuts

Todd You don't seem to get it. Even with the give backs only Beverely Hills and Oakland's total compensation is higher than Vallejo's Police.Below is a link to the article written by PolicePay.nethttp: //ibvallejo.com/in dex.php?option=com _content&task= view&id=567 &Itemid=1 Next year VPD get a raise of 7% to 10% which may put them in top position in the toital US. I assume Vallejo IAFF members are also in the top few percent. As long as we have the Funded Four in power Vallejo will continue to go down hill. Instead of using bankruptcy to help solve our fical problems ( by cutting wages and benefits for everyone) the Funded Four fiqured out a way to make things even worse. They are like people trying to use balance transfers among their credit cards--the problem gets worse not better.  (Sep 1, 2009 | post #7)

Will Gomes take pay raise next year?

Saul I love my PSU apologist friends who are sooo generous with Other Peoples Money. You sure are a hypocrite. If you give up any cost of living monies you receive and donate them to the Kurt Henke victims fund ,I will ask Gomes to donate hers to VIB.  (Aug 31, 2009 | post #2)

Group's seminar leaves nonprofits hopeful, cautious

1)If the HMF is legit why is Rev Bernardes having to scramble to get an $80K grant. 2) Should the City be giving Rev Bernardes money when he is affiliated with an Organization whose Org charts show that the monies from the various non profits will be co-mingled. 3) To date not one piece of information about the HMF has been verified. 4) Why were people searched who went to the meeting Rev Benardes sponsored with the HMF. Those in attendants were invited non profits--not exactly a group known for carrying weapons etc.  (Aug 31, 2009 | post #8)

City, Vallejo firefighters reach agreement on contract dispute

Its time that PSU Apologists finally acknowledge that when the Incompetent 5 voted to give CAMP and the VPOA what they wanted including a pay raise in 2010 they have limited the ability of Bankruptcy to make Vallejo whole again. Due to an Incompetent City Council majority IAFF and IBEW will need to take the biggest hits--your statements are simply Red Herings meant to deflect people from seeing how the Incompetent 5 have brought this City to its knees.  (Aug 27, 2009 | post #28)

Hermie and Ozby drink koolaid

Here is a link to another article about the H Martin Foundation written by a fellow Phillipino. http://ibvallejo.c om/index.php?optio n=com_content& task=view&id=5 65&Itemid=1 It will be interesting to see how long it will take before Osby's Ego finally realises he was played .The longer he keeps defending his actions the more Osby looks incompetent. Even Hermie realised he should duck.  (Aug 26, 2009 | post #84)

City, Vallejo firefighters reach agreement on contract dispute

I am glad to see my PSU Apologist friends are out tonight. What my friends fail to take into account is that because the City didn't cave in,IAFF will need to convince both an Arbiter and the Judge that the City can afford the bloated contracts PSU members currently have. Although the wording in the Charter is not precise an Arbiter must take into account the City's ability to pay. Knowing that a Judge is looking over their shoulder I think the Arbiter will be more miserly than usual. Maybe you guys should get some tips from the homeless on how to live on a reduced budget.  (Aug 26, 2009 | post #18)

Vallejo delays notifying cops of cuts, demotions

Saul maybe Sam can give you some of his meds--they must work as he is more lucid and coherent than you are. Also your delusions seem to be appearing more frequently.  (Aug 12, 2009 | post #25)

Gomes and Shvley fight again with council members

My PSU apologist friend ,I love the misinformation you like to spread. If the Police contract hadn't been signed ,the judge would have thrown it into the bankruptcy pot .This would have allowed the City to void the contract and get real concessions. You guys make me sick with your BS. Hermie is so smart he is endorsing the scam run by the H Martin Foundation. He seems so proud of it that he gave mentioned it last night at city Council. Maybe the unlimited financial resources of the Foundation could be used for programs to rehabilitate criminals through H Martins assets of legendary magnitude--from the Sultan of Bogor who doesn't exist Here is a link http://ibvallejo.c om/index.php?optio n=com_content& task=view&id=5 56&Itemid=1 .  (Aug 12, 2009 | post #4)

Council candidate Brown rakes in the green

These numbers are highly suspect as the Unions contribute over $100K to the City council Elections. If Hermie has almost no money collected how did he pay for his signs all over time. The TH should be ashamed as they did not point out that most of the Union money is kept off the books until October.  (Aug 12, 2009 | post #19)
