Dist. 130 changes time of meeting?
Or maybe they should have two board meetings a month, standard. (Jun 16, 2011 | post #17)
Dist. 130 changes time of meeting?
Why aren't they using Connect-Ed for notifying Parents of Board Meetings? (Jun 15, 2011 | post #13)
Remove Dr. Lauk as Superintendent of District 130?
Wonder if Lauk will speak or remain silent as is his style... I wonder if he still thinks he's pulling the wool over our eyes... hmmmm. (Jun 14, 2011 | post #27)
Sneaky little devils... change made to 130 Board Meeting
New time... 5:30 PM... Thursday, 06/16/2011. Don't think it is on the website yet... hmmmm... Be there to support Gmazel, help make the School Board see Lauk needs to go, and do what is right for the children of District 130! (Jun 13, 2011 | post #1)
District 130 redrawing boundaries
Ah, but yes, even though there is always an election on the horizon, it's a LONG wait and a LOT of DAMAGE can be done in the meanwhile! (Jun 13, 2011 | post #29)
District 130 redrawing boundaries
I did not vote for any of them... (Jun 13, 2011 | post #28)
Will the District 130 School Board Finally Get the Clue?
Hhmmm.... well for one thing, I don't know anything from the excec board because I am not on the board. It also seems you think I work for 130. Well, that's besides the point. Even if I did, I live in the district and anyone who lives in the ditrict can run for board. Oh, and how would you know if anything above is from the excec board... are you A BOARD MEMBER? Will the District 130 School Board Finally Get the Clue?
How about L. Arenziak (spelling?) get a huge clue and resign? Does she really not get how much trouble she's caused? When does one really become embarrassed? Is she clueless? Stubborn? Vengeful? I would think one would step down to not cause more issues. Please resign. How about J. Blew-Healy stepping down? She is an absolute screw up when it comes to things. She talks in circles, claims to be a teacher, although I don't know from where or when, and focuses on the most bizarre crap. Self-expression in the form of socks? Really? Get the hell off the board before more damage is done. You aren't even winning when it comes to your painfully obvious goal of self-gratification . You can't even get what you want for your own kid anymore. Please stop embarrassing yourself and your already picked-on family. You've made a spectacle and it's not even amusing or entertaining anymore. Many people talk about you as if you're cracked in the head. Contreras? I guess lately she actually has an opinion and doesn't only smile and nod. It'll be interesting to see where she really stands on things. At least she did the correct thing by voted Yes for Gmazel to stay. Cheversia? Noble, with some guts. But he works out of the state, so he can't really focus on doing a good job - plus the rest of the board hate him becuase he doesn't lket them have their way. At least he does what's fight. Horton? She doesn't even know where Blue Island is except to find her way to the board meetings. She is out for her kid and her kid only. Pilweski? A nice grandma who has just now stopped following Arendziak. She needs to get off that board - fast. She is too passive. Rapp? She has a doctorate in what, confusion? Please help us. Oh, and before all you tell me to run, NO. Just becuase they are not doing a good job doesn't mean one person who speaks out has to fix everything. Do it yourself. You voted them all in, I DIDN'T! District 130 redrawing boundaries
Remember, many homeless are hidden, if you dig deep enough you'll find a shocking number of homeless in Blue Island as well as most suburbs. (Jun 11, 2011 | post #18)
District 130 redrawing boundaries
You can check it out in the school office I think. Homeless is anyone who has a "temporary " residence, forced to live with a relative, etc. They don't have to actually be with out a physical place to live, although that does qualify them. (Jun 11, 2011 | post #17)
