Here is the plot to "Planet 51" - American astronaut Captain Charles "Chuck" Baker lands on Planet 51 thinking he's the first person to step foot on it. To his surprise, he finds that this planet is inhabited by little green people who are happily living in a white picket fence world, and whose only fear is that it will be overrun by alien invaders...like Chuck! I have been to Betty Stradling Park for the free concerts they used to run once every month. I believe the concerts were on the third Saturday of each month. It has been awhile since they've had one. January will make 20 years we are here. Actually, my husband is my ex-husband, but we talk & get along. I'm not sure if he is as thrilled with being a grandpa since wife #3 keeps him away from the ones that live right here in Broward County. She complains about his kids while her kids hung the moon & the stars. My daughter has said when my time & her mother-in-law's time comes to leave this Earth, the kids will be affected, not so much for him as they hardly know him. Kinda sad. Thanks for thinking of me as a hip grandma. I try to keep up with the things my grandchildren are into - Spongebob Squarepants & Wolverine are the currents favorites. I like taking my grandson on a GG & Me date. We'll go to McDonalds or Wendy's for lunch, then off to the movies. We like the Magnolia in Coral Springs. Nice stadium seating. He's already hinting for "Planet 51", which will open for Thanksgiving.  (Monday Nov 9 | post #42)

Hello Joshua, Should I ask why you have Bobby logston as your sign-on? Joshua is my grandson's name. I had fun with him & his sister yesterday. I watched my granddaughter when my daughter went to a doctor's appointment and I took them to dinner (Cici's) as Joshie has been begging for it. Glad to hear all the Gail's in your life are good people. When I started working here, there were 2 other Gail's, but we all spelled our names different - Gale, Gayle & Gail (me). Just a tad confusing. Now, I'm the only Gail from that bunch, but there is another Gail that works in another department. I saw Gale at the supermarket in Lighthouse Point last week. It was nice that she remembered me. I remembered her, too, from her red hair. It would be nice to meet you at the Jazz Brunch. The next one is Sunday December 6th. We sit by the Esplande, across the street from the IMAX theatre. We sit on the right side, under the trees. Some bugs, but not too bad. At least it's shady. I have been keeping up with Michael's progress and agree with you that there are too many sicko's wandering our streets. How dare they just come into someone's yard (in this case, Michael's older sister), burn dolls and toss them in the pool. Like Michael jumping in a pool to stop his burning. 3-year olds are so much fun. They give you lots of great energy chasing them. What is his name? I have a 5 year old grandson & an almost 2 year old granddaughter. They both own their GG's heart. GG is short for Grandma Gail. We seem to only go to buffets, Indian, Chinese & Sweet Tomatoes. We go to table service if/when we get a good coupon. Last year I bought 3 $25.00 gift certificates to Athena's By The Sea. Good food. You can buy the gift certificates from Restaurant.com No chain restaurants like Chili's or Red Lobster. Your wife sounds like a lucky woman to have you. Not too many hands-on fathers like you & my son-in-law. Do you think they will charge these monsters as adults? I think they should. Hi Bobby, I know very little Hebrew. I know Shalom, Mazel Tov, L'Chaim and mine & my daugther's Hebrew names. I will take your advice and look for the reading you suggest. How was your picnic? I went to the Jazz Brunch down by Las Olas Blvd. They have it the first Sunday of every month. There are 3 locations along the waterfront. We go to the Esplande, which is across the street from the Imax theatre. It starts at 11:00 and runs to about 2:00 or 3:00. You're probably right about night deposits. In the 2 years I worked there, I can only remember them being robbed 1 time. But, I would think that during the day there are more people around and, because you can see alot better, the robbers can't hide in the shadows. Hi Bobby. No. My brother got out of the restaurant business the day after the robbery. Yes. I worked in a restaurant as the cashier in the back of the house. I'm glad I didn't see any crimes as well. Although I can remember the guys that made the night drop at the bank were robbed at the bank while making the night deposit.
