The flaw in your argument about everyone being satisfied with Bush is that a Democrat was elected to be President. This is what you aren't getting. The American public did not like the massive amount of money being spent so out of frustration they put in the other party. Now what happens? The other party goes on a spending spree the likes of which have never been seen before. Hence the reason for tea parties and escalated protests and criticism. On top of all that, Obama and company are trying to implement more and more government control of our lives again to a degree not seen before. Bush is history and there isn't anything you can do about that. Obama is today. You can bitch and moan all you want about Bush but it isn't going to change anything. You see, Billy, Plant Lady understands. What we do is we learn lessons from the past. We don't get all wrapped up in pointing fingers and blaming this person or that person. We learn the lessons out of the mistakes that others made. Whether or not George Bush is to blame has no bearing on the price of beer in Guatemala. The thing that concerns those who understand; those who have learned the lessons of the past; is that what is happening today is just plain wrong. The intelligent person will look at our debt today and recognize that we can't pay it back and to just keep adding to that debt at an accelerated rate is just plain suicide for this country. You want to call everyone a hypocrite because the sleeping giant is awakening on O'spendarama's watch and you think everyone just gave ole GWB a pass. Well, you couldn't be anymore wrong. Some of us left the Republican party after it left us. Many made the fatal error of cutting off their noses to spite their faces by voting for O'bigmistake. Still, it was a protest action against what Bush was doing. But now, they, we see what is going on today and recognize the impending disaster that it is hence the stepped up action and criticism that is happening. Maybe you want to close you eyes and 'give him a chance' but the rest of us can't afford (afford does not mean just money) to do so.  (Wednesday | post #34114)

Uh.... No. As usual, you make a complete false assumption. Now, I'm going to make an assumption based upon what you just posted. Since you find it totally irresponsible for "selective standards" to be applied to the F-22 program, then you must also find it totally irresponsible for Congress to have paid their whore, Nelson, with a bribe in order to get his vote on the health care bill. Definitely we need to begin trying to overturn these outrageous laws that are being passed but it will difficult because you will need a 2/3 vote in Congress to overturn Obama's veto when the overturning bills hit his desk.
