Well, for your information, the man was armed with a rifle. The same rifle he used to shoot a woman with. This is what I have heard, since there is always two sides to every story....The guy came out of the house and advanced towards the officer who tased him after he failed to comply with their orders to stop and get on the ground. They could have used lethal force since he was noncompliant and posed a deadly threat to the officers but they didint. Would you rather have had them shoot him with their sidearms? I wouldnt be surprised if the guy sustained indirect injuries from being tased. If you have ever seen anyone get tased they lose all control of their body and fall to the ground. The guy was fighting them when they were trying to cuff him, which is also a good way to sustain indirect injuries. But, you people like to believe all the shit you hear about police brutality so thats what you believe. Its a fact of life, when a person resists arrest they get injured. If they guy sustained injuries while being taken into custody, so be it, the guy shot someone. But, in your fairytale utopian world, it doesnt matter what someone did, it just matters that they are treated like some kind of saint that deserves to be pampered.  (3 hrs ago | post #4)

Like I said, you arent man enough to change anything, youre just gonna hide behind that computer and run your mouth. Their job is dangerous wherever they are, it doesnt matter if its in a big city or small town. My friend, Roger Lynch, a Sheriffs Deputy in Livingston County was shot and killed responding to a domestic disbute between husband and wife. He got the wife and child out of the house and was entering the house to speak to the husband when he was gunned down with an AK-47 assault rifle. So dont you tell me how the job isnt dangerous in small towns you heartless bastard. Livingston County doesnt even have a stop light in the entire county. Hmmm, kind of sounds like "past park employee" is a disgruntled past employee. Maybe they are the ones who did the vandalism, kinda seems like they may be defending themselves. Wrong on all accounts. What I am is a person who thinks people are quick to jump on someone, or a profession, when they dont have a clue. You think you can do better? Go do it. Become a cop and do something about it. You wont do that, of course. What you will do is hide behind your computer screen and criticize someone or something you know nothing about. Your time working for the prosecuters office doesnt count for anything either, you werent on the streets. You werent out there getting called all kinds of nasty things, dealing with people who want to fight you, spit on you, curse at you, etc. etc. All while having to maintaining a professional attitude and demeanor. As far as the deals that are cut for persons who have been arrested, take that up with the lawyers and judges.  (Wednesday Nov 25 | post #8)
