Looking for Kenneth Randall Sparks
I was able to find him, thank god. He is alive and okay. (Tuesday Nov 17 | post #4)
I have lived here for 8 years and I agree that it has rapidly become a drug-infested town. However I think that people are basing many of their stereotypical opinions on the bad areas of New Caney, such as the trailer parks, etc. Many of the people who live in New Caney are simply poor, and there are people who have money and choose to live in the places they do to have extra money for other things. There are actually many successful people in New Caney, but they keep to themselves. It may not be the greatest town, and it may not be a town I want to stay in forever, but it is my hometown and always will be. (Wednesday Nov 11 | post #10)
You know what I never see in Porter? Anyone with a sense of community that extends to inspire volunteers. Aka Why don't more people volunteer? But then again, perhaps the question is "Is there anywhere to vounteer?" (Oct 27, 2008 | post #1)
