Corporations embrace Canada's diverse workforce
One of many reasons I am proud to live in Canada When I started my Transition at work, it was a complete non issue. There are other trans people who work where I do openly. My Husband is a Transman who works here as well, and one of my closest tranwoman friends just started this week. Transitioning while working is one thing, hiring trans people right out is another. Very equal; myself and another have both seen promotion. There are allot of openly gay and bisexual people working here, and some are in management positions. Is it forced? Does it hinder us? Is our workplace somehow damaged? Not in the slightest, our site is often the location other sites are compared to. Not just sexuality and gender identity either. There is definite equality of the sexes and of skin color. Half the managers are women. My own Manager is female and just got offered the lead position on a new contract coming in. The head of our corporation is a woman. Our workforce is made up of whitefolk, black, native canadian, europeans, asian, and middle eastern people. Canada does a great deal to embrace and celebrate its multiculturalism and its diversity. Yes; some people talk about me behind my back. Some of my friends let me know. Bur I have nothing but positive experiences at work and only a handful of awkward ones outside of work. (Wednesday Dec 2 | post #1)

The treatments used for trans people have been proven to greatly improve their sense of self worth, comfort with their body, and reduce the suicide rate in a part of society with an abnormally high suicide rate. So transgooberism surgery does save lives and by your own definition is good surgery They tried it your way for generations, and it made people worse. (Saturday Nov 28 | post #68)

Matthew 19:12 For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. New Bible Evidence Says Ok To Be Gay
Apologies if this ios a double, but the first post I put here doesn't seem to be showing up, and is really needed to know where I am going. This post should be before my previousThe end of times has been prohesized since man uttered his first word, even Jesus Prophesized it...as ossuring withing the lifetime of those he spoke to. Jesus’ Predictions: 1) Jesus falsely prophesies DIRECTLY to the high priest (Caiphas) that he would live to see his second coming. Jesus uses the term “coming on the clouds of heaven”. This clearly negates the “coming” as the resurrection but as a return to the earth on CLOUDS, not his return in human form from the dead. Matthew 26:64 & Mark 14:62. "But I tell you: From now on you will see 'the Son of Man seated at the right hand of the Power' and 'coming on the clouds of heaven.'" (Matthew 26:64 NAB) Then Jesus answered, "I am; and 'you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of the Power and coming with the clouds of heaven.'" (Mark 14:62 NAB) 2) Jesus mistakenly tells his followers that he will return and establish his kingdom within their lifetime. Matthew 23:36 & 24:34 Amen, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation. (Matthew 23:36 NAB) "Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming upon the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send out his angels with a trumpet blast, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other. "Learn a lesson from the fig tree. When its branch becomes tender and sprouts leaves, you know that summer is near. In the same way, when you see all these things, know that he is near, at the gates. Amen, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have taken place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away. (Matthew 24:29-35 NAB) 3) YET AGAIN, Jesus claims those standing RIGHT BEFORE HIM shall see the Armageddon. Matthew 16:28 “There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.” Don’t let Christians lie to you and claim Jesus was referring to his modern day believers. The words “some standing HERE will not taste death” clearly refutes such nonsense. Obviously the people he was speaking to died, and curiously Jesus STILL isn’t here to claim his kingdom. 4) Jesus falsely prophesies that the end of the world will come within his listeners’ lifetimes. Amen, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have taken place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away. (Mark 13:30-31 NAB) He also said to them, "Amen, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see that the kingdom of God has come in power." (Mark 9:1 NAB) 5) Jesus falsely predicts that some of his listeners would live to see him return and establish the kingdom of God. "Truly I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God." (Luke 9:27 NAB) (Tuesday Nov 24 | post #1203)

6) Jesus implies that he will return to earth during the lifetime of John. (John 21:22) 7) Jesus says that all that he describes (his return, signs in the sun, moon, wars, stars, etc.) will occur within the lifetime of his listeners. He purposely defines their generation and NOT a future one. Considering that NONE of those signs took place during the resurrection and that he uses the term of “Heaven and earth shall pass away”, Clearly Jesus is prophesizing that nearly 2,000 years ago Armageddon SHOULD have occurred. Luke 21:25-33 "There will be signs in the sun, the moon, and the stars, and on earth nations will be in dismay, perplexed by the roaring of the sea and the waves. People will die of fright in anticipation of what is coming upon the world, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. But when these signs begin to happen, stand erect and raise your heads because your redemption is at hand." He taught them a lesson. "Consider the fig tree and all the other trees. When their buds burst open, you see for yourselves and know that summer is now near; in the same way, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. Amen, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have taken place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away. (Luke 21:25-33 NAB) [Editor's note: Matthew 10:23 also has Jesus telling his disciples that the second coming will occur before the disciples finish preaching in Israel: "When they persecute you in one town, flee to another. Amen, I say to you, you will not finish the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes." (Matthew 10:23 NAB)] John’s Predictions 8) John believes “the time is at hand,” and that the things that he writes about in Revelation will “shortly come to pass.” Revelations 1:1-3 9) John quotes Jesus (1900 years ago) as saying he will come “quickly.” Revelations 22:7, 12 & 20 10) John thinks he is living in “the last times.” He “knows” this because he sees so many antichrists around. 1 John 2:18 11) John says that the antichrist was already present at the time 1 John was written. 1 John 4:3 12) John quotes Jesus (1900 years ago) as saying he will come “quickly.” Revelations 3:11, 22:7, 12 & 20 Paul’s Predictions 13) Paul thought that the end was near and that Jesus would return soon after he wrote these words. Philippians 4:5 14) Paul believes he is living in the “last days.” Hebrews 1:2 15) Paul believed that Jesus would come “in a little while, and will not tarry.” Hebrews 10:37 16) In 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 Paul stated: “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: And the dead Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: And so shall we ever be with the Lord.” Paul shared the delusion, taught by Jesus, in that he expected to be snatched up bodily into heaven with other saints then living, who would, thus, never taste death. The use of “we” clearly proves as much. It is difficult to deny that Paul was certain that the end of the world was coming in the lifetime of his contemporaries. Other Prophecies About Armageddon: 17) James thought that Jesus would return soon. James 5:8 18) Peter wrongly believed that he was living in the “last times” and that “the end of all things is at hand.” 1 Peter 1:20 & 4:7 Cut/paste from http://www.evilbib le.com/end_times.h tm to save digging through scripture (Tuesday Nov 24 | post #1202)

People have thought the end was neigh right from the very beginning. Doctors group votes to oppose 'Don't ask, don't tell'
If I was trained properly to be a disciplined soldier, I am pretty sure I would count sexual advances of people in the shower (or even just checking them out) as something I would not be inclined to do. Even without the discipline training of the military I keep myself professional at work. News flash; there are gays in your bathrooms and showers now. They have seen your wiener, lesboes have seen your twat. The only difference in the military is you will know they are gay. The current rules do not keep gays out of the military, it actually makes it worse by propagating the idea that they will harm the military somehow. But they are already there, have been since day one. They do nothing to harm the military; attacks on outed military men does more to harm the military. It attacks moral and makes the military looks worse to the rest of us. Civilized, disciplined, professional individuals would not care if their are men and women showering naked or sleeping in the same barracks. This comes from false ideas that gay men like to fuck and rape every bum-hole they see. It is not true in the slightest. The fag showering with you is not going to rape you because he is gay, he will rape you because he is a sociopathic jerk; a problem equally shared with straight men. (Monday Nov 23 | post #361)

1) Children cannot enter legally binding contracts, marriage is a legally binding contract AND requires consent 2) God actually ordered that very thing repeatedly in the Bible. Typical age for marriage in that time was 12, and God's law was that if a rapist got a woman(child) pregnant that he was to pay the father then marry the daughter (whether she wanted it or not) (Monday Nov 23 | post #48)

This is like playing a game with someone who plays by running around in circles and screaming, and when you win they claim they won. Here is your prize, you can play with yourself. Anyone here want to have some real intellectual discourse, please do. Other than that, I see no reason to even be here. (Sunday Nov 22 | post #348)

You did blame the victem, you inferred they bring it on themselves. That is blaming the victem. The "Surprise, i have a penis" scenario in the bedroom is not as common among these cases as you think. It is a rarity. One of my best friends was verbally attacked and outed at her workplace by an extremely fundie client, in front of everyone she worked with. Her work mates all decided she had betrayed them. How? Do you tell people what is between your legs? In a non sexual situation (workplace), it is nobodies business what is between anyones legs. In fact, it would be rude to tell people. It is not something which in any way effected her work or her work relationships. She didn't betray anyone, and it was not the idiots place to out her and call her names. Had she been in a less professional setting, he likely would have beaten her to death for being "an abomination to the Lord" What did she do to deserve it? Nobody does anything that deserves being attacked over, nobody deserves to be abused or beaten or killed with the possible exception of situations of self defense. Even the "Trans panic" defense only has a certain level of acceptability. It is reasonable to say someone in shock of discovering the girl they are trying to have sex with has a penis, I can understand an initial violent reaction. Hitting them. When you face a shock sometimes you act irrationally. It still does not place blame on the victem and it is no excuse to continue attacking them. In these cases; people continue their assault, or plan revenge and trap their victem and torture and murder them. Premeditated torture and murder should be first degree and many of these criminals get off on manslaughter. (Sunday Nov 22 | post #31)

I know I certainly wish I wasn't Transgendered, but it happens and people are born this way. How shall we handle people being born different? Any clues? Fair assumption from your name is that you are a black man. Few generations ago, that was basically a hangable offense. But you didn't choose it and I am sure many times you have wished you were white. Not because white is better, but because white likes to remind you they think they are better. Right now you are reminding us you think you are better than us. You were born black, I was born with XX and XY chromosomes. Shall you kill me for just trying to live a normal life? It is liberalism which gave you freedom from slavery, freedom to use water fountains, freedom to ride the front of the bus...need I go on? (Sunday Nov 22 | post #23)
