Why I’m no longer a Christian

The fool says in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good. I certainly understand why you might not want to be a Christian. Many people are hurt by people who call themselves Christian. I know that you feel the same way that I once felt. Some of the Christian people I was around were the most hateful and vindictive people I have ever been around. But it is not about them and it is not about us, it is all about God. I am not going to beat you over the head with the Bible. What are you going to do when you find the Bible was true and you come face to face with our judge. Jesus Christ judges the living and the dead. This earth is not all there is. Whether we believe in God, Satan, ourselves, it is a matter of faith. But all of us one day will have to face Jesus Christ. We will see his nail print hands and feet. He either is going to say well done good and faithful servant or depart from you for I never knew you. Don't keep making the wrong choice. But it is your choice to make. We cannot make that choice for you. But I pray that you will make that choice before He comes again or you are required to give up your life. We do not know when that will be made. But eternal life awaits for all of those who are willing to take up their cross and follow Him. There are treasures in heaven that await those who would be willing to follow Christ. I am not saying you have to be apart of a congregation. But we must worship Him in Spirit and Truth. But it is up to you what you decide. I do not agree with taking tax dollars to pay for abortions. Nor should people be forced to give up their doctors and other medical professionals. People should have the decision to decide what medical decisions they make. This will lead to abortions and euthanasia and both goes against the Word of God.  (Sep 29, 2009 | post #1)
