THE PARABLE PARADOX - Discovering the KEY to unlocking ALL the parables of Jesus

Everybody loves a good mystery, but when we find that facts are missing from critical information, it can become frustrating and even dangerous – especially when the information contains instructions we are expected to obey. Jesus taught by parables, but His first one warned if we do not understand this parable we would not understand any of them! How can we comply with the needed instructions? This is the paradox of the parable. Jesus requires that we know SO THAT WE CAN KNOW! Like a key to the safe that is locked inside the safe, or a book instructing Latin written in Latin, this parable is a paradox! Now available from Think Red Ink Ministries. MELBOURNE AUTHOR & RADIO HOST, DON HARRIS, PRESENTS...

International radio host, author and Bible teacher, Don Harris, will lead two nights of events at the First Assembly of God, 801 Masterson Street, Melbourne, Florida on Tuesday; May 20 and Wednesday; May 21, 2008 from 7 pm until 9 pm. On Tuesday, The Creator’s Calendar Webinar will be held before a local and a world-wide internet audience. “The Parable Paradox” Guidance Conference will be held during the same hours the following evening. Mr. Harris, founder of Think Red Ink Ministries, was born in the old Melbourne hospital on US 1, and, during the 1980’s, was Director of Happy Landings Home, a residential home for troubled youth. Since that time, Don and his wife, Pamela, have lived and traveled throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico, and have visited in Israel and Costa Rica gathering with and teaching those who join them in their quest for honest faith and a true relationship with Jesus Christ. Don also ministers in Africa, where his popular radio program, “Questions of Jesus,” is broadcast on short-wave radio and the internet. Author of two books and several publications, Harris will be available to sign copies of his newest book, The Red Letter Questions. Featured at the 2007 International Christian Bookseller’s Convention, this book brings to the forefront more than 150 red-letter questions asked by Jesus during His lifetime and ministry on the earth. “‘Does anyone really know what time it is -- does anybody really care?’ is not just a line from an old song,” said a spokesman with Harris. Christians should make themselves familiar with God’s calendar. “Our Creator left us with Scriptures to calculate and identify His appointed times and seasons. If they were not important, or were to be left to the discretion or arbitrary alteration of man, He would not have so clearly outlined their demarcation in His Holy Scriptures,” he added. Harris believes that the Bible teaches when a day starts - when a day ends - when the months begin and when the new years are to be marked and that modern man can and should be familiar with “the calendar that sits on God’s desk.” In a multi-media webinar presentation, Harris will present to a world-wide internet and a local audience some very plausible answers to these and other questions regarding the Sacred Biblical Calendar. The following evening, the local public is again invited to attend a guidance conference at First Assembly, Melbourne. The Parable Paradox: Discovering the KEY to all the parables of Jesus This conference will feature a particular red-letter question asked by Jesus, "If you do not understand this parable, how will you understand any parable?" Family Christian Stores on New Haven Avenue, Melbourne, will host a Meet-the-Author event on Sunday; May 18, between the hours of noon and 5 pm. Mr. Harris will be available to sign copies of his newest book, The Red Letter Questions.
