Robert Norse: City Council silencing dissenting voices
Why don't you give us an example of a use of the "Nazi salute" that isn't disruptive or offensive? (2 hrs ago | post #69)

Two pot stops tops: City leaders consider new rules for medicin...
Robert, I left at 8 o'clock, after watching Valerie stand there to address the panel for some time and listening to the same there would be no public comment. Are you aware that WAMM issued a press release the day before the meeting: WAMM issues press release supporting medical marijuana dispensaries: http://www.examine r.com/examiner/x-1 4883-Santa-Cruz-Co unty-Drug-Policy-E xaminer~y2009m11d1 8-WAMM-issues-pres s-release-supporti ng-medical-marijua na-dispensaries So they weren't interested in anything Valerie Corral had to say? We all know the Sentinel is a shill for the prohibitionists. I was curious what happened after I left. Do you know what time the meeting ended? (Saturday | post #254)

Santa Cruz considers ban on more medical marijuana dispensaries
One thing I noted is that while they calculated 3,000 patients in the county and 670 in the city, the dispensaries reported 1,725 in the county, and 1,200 in the city. It actually works out to about the same number. They also had some different estimates for how much a 2,000 square foot grow could produce. The estimate given by Limekiln, based on a grow house in Oakland, is 125 pounds and 20,000 clones per year, somewhat below the 300-432 estimated by the sheriff. In any case, after sitting there listening to a bunch of people, only one of whom had a clue what they were talking about regarding medical marijuana, and after watching Valerie Corral standing there for some time hoping to address these issues, and upon a member of the panel requesting that Mrs. Corral be allowed to address some of the issue they were attempting to wrap their pointy prejudiced little heads around, and after him being told "no public comment, that was at the last meeting" - I couldn't take it any more and left. You really don't expect the Soviet Socialist Republic of Santa Cruz to allow anything so democratic, do you? Besides, they don't want that kind of business and those kind of people. They've made it abundantly clear they are totally, unequivocally opposed to marijuana, medical or otherwise. And they think medical marijuana patients should sit home all day and never go anywhere or do anything - and especially not to city council meetings, or the library, or the parks. They obviously think the sick and dying should spend there time isolated and alone, and believe the faster they are dead the better. (Sunday Nov 15 | post #215)

A personal attack, and nothing else. A violation of the TOS is there ever was one. #167. Will it be removed? (Sunday Nov 15 | post #212)

This is comment #165. Just marking it to see if it's deleted. It is spam. It contributes nothing to the discussion. It is, like all their other posts, nothing but personal attack and invective. (Sunday Nov 15 | post #211)
