If only it could really happen! Without Eastern Oregon what would the Metro/Portland socialists have left to ruin. With ongoing fights to root out terrorists primarily in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan, the southern US border could serve as a training area for our troops. An area from Texas to California could be opened as a free fire zone 800 meters inside our border. Illegal immigrants should be treated as foreign agents. They should not be offered sanctuary and if not an imminent threat to US security, deported. If their presence poses a threat to the safety or security of the legal citizens they should be treated as would any threat to homeland security. (Nov 20, 2007 | post #4581)
