You pretty much explained how my day went yesterday. 2 feet of snow is ridiculous. 3 1/2 hours of shoveling (23 hrs ago | post #5517)
I disagree with you about the Isles game. For the first half of the first period they were outplayed and I was gettin nervous. I felt the defense played better, offense provided some much needed scoring and Hank stood on his head. For the Flyers game your right, but you will take the two points any way you can get em. I say keep doing what Torts has, sit Redden and Kotalik until the streak ends, I know it is only 2 wins but why stop why were hot for once? (Yesterday | post #5511)
Yeah the snow was pretty bad, digging the car out was super fun. Im sure LIAM and Reality Check can relate :) (Yesterday | post #5510)
What a game last night, was a little nervous for the first half of the period but they picked it up. Good to see them finally win a game as well. What a night for Cally. Now they have go to take advantage of this momentum and use it vs Philly tommorow. They have weak goaltending so hopefully the offensive play carries over. (Friday Dec 18 | post #5503)
ESPN was actually going to do a documentary about how the New Jersey Devils played a key role making hockey less interseting with the trap for their 30 in 30 series. There good but so boring (Thursday Dec 17 | post #5482)
Gotta love trolls... complaining about everything someone says (Tuesday Dec 15 | post #5463)
He defintly needs to be more patient with the roster. This team has talent but right now he is mishandling it. Higgins and Avery had nice scoring chances, they both should have gotten more ice time. Nice pass by Del Zotto for the Callahan goal. Doesnt it feel kind of wrong that a 19 year old is quarterbacking the PP? There is nothing wrong with that but it makes you look at everyone else and say what the hell is going on. (Tuesday Dec 15 | post #5457)
Agreed, so many more deserving cities the Phoenix, or should I say Glendale. Move the team north. I just dont get it, why would is the commisioner trying to save a team that is a financial toilet? I mean they really are just flushing money away. (Sunday Dec 13 | post #5442)
Yeah but who in their right mind would claim him at his 1.5 mil salary. Not me, so no worries there. (Friday Dec 11 | post #5436)
D wise they have experimented with Heikkenen, dont know how that will turn out but it is worth a shot. Only other options we have right now are Potter, Sauer and Sanguinetti. Potter and Sauer I think will eventually get shots if Heikkenen doesnt workout. Potter especially, from what Ive seen I like him the most out of the three. Sanguinetti looks uncomfortable out there, he tears it up in the NHL, he needs more confidence. (Monday Dec 7 | post #5417)
Ah, the Whalers. What a performance they had in 90-91 and 91-92. Judging by his hockey knowledge I dont think he knows who the Whalers are. Speaking of the Whalers, will be at the Garden Jan 2nd to see Canes and Rangers. Canes have sucked this year, my bro is pissed about but oh well. Gonna be weird going to two Rangers games in a week, also going to beantown to see them play on the 9th. (Monday Dec 7 | post #5416)
I honestly have no idea what Torts and Sather see in this guy. I mean when we had Parenteau in the minors this guy was robbing him of a roster spot. (Friday Dec 4 | post #5396)
Lucky for us he did go unclaimed, so if this Chad Johnson things does not workout he will comeback. Rangers do need to make a move, even if its minor, just to let the guys know they are not cutting it (Friday Dec 4 | post #5395)
