I don't know about everyone else, but I am thinking there is more to this. Maybe this officer has had other complaints against him. I am not judgeing this woman because she was a drug user. It does not mean she is not a victim. If it is allowed to go un punished then we have other officers doing the same thing. I am sure that having a power such as a police badge could go to anyone's head. What if (and I know that if is a big strech) it had not been a drug dealer? What if it had my 16 yr old niece? I am not talking about an officer being accused after arresting someone or giving them a ticket. I am speaking truths because I know for fact ( I held her hand after the fact).I am sure you being an officer yourself it's hard to belive that the system is corrupt. Not all are I am sure that there maybe a few good ones out there. I just don't see them here in Hancock County. Over half the population says the same thing. I know that this is kinda old. I am new to living over here in Hancock county. Let me start by saying that the Sheriff Dept here is a joke. How can an officer be hired if he has accusations of Domestic Abuse? O yea and one cop on the Great police Force had pic up on MySpace of Drug Bust made, and pics of himself and fellow officers taking pics while on duty. O or better yet at Diamondhead Lounge. You are still useing the same amount of gas to drive 5 min's up the road. No matter what grocery store goes in you will still have to go to Walmart. No one person can honestly say they never have a need for Walmart. Would you be happier if the Bay just annexes all of Waveland. No one is going to happy with whatever the out come is. I honestly do not see what a grocery store in the Bay is going to accomplish. We should be more concerned with getting people out of FEMA trailers, and dependent on themselves. Do you relize that after 2 1/2 yrs some people are still having the Salvation Army pay bills for them? Makes me wanna jump up every morning and go to work just so I can still support you.
