Jesus gave up his earthly life, when he ascended to Heaven. He did make a few appearances(as Jesus) just to prove who he was, and that he did not remain in death. That he had actually ascended to Heaven. Then he became the Spirit Being, known as Michael, once again. The Bible proves that as true, when it refers to him as Michael in Revelation 12:7,8. Save your prayers for yourself. I got along all the years w/o your help. I certainly don't need it now. As to how much Bible I know? I've probably have forgotten more than you will ever know, about lots of things, including the Bible. (23 hrs ago | post #89)
Sorry about the double...first one didn't appear to go thru. (23 hrs ago | post #159)
Are you really, LL? I have no doubt I am. That's how I feel (23 hrs ago | post #158)
I never beat myself up, I simply trusted in Jehovah GOD. That's all I need to do, AND follow Jesus's footsteps as close as I am able to do. AND I have been studying the Bible for around 70 years...I feel I have a pretty fair knowledge of it by now. (Yesterday | post #87)
What you said is pure also...hogwash (Yesterday | post #344)
Jesus spoke of two, different classes, of people and their hope is different. He first said he had a "Little Flock"(these are the 144,000 who will form a government, and rule as Kings with Christ, and rule over the Paradise Earth). They are directly Anointed with the Holy Spirit. He then said..."I have other Sheep, these also I must bring(this is the group who will inherit the privilege of living on a Paradise Earth, which Adam, by his sin, lost for them, his imperfect offspring). These are not directly Anointed with GOD's Spirit, but receive its benefits, by associating with those who are. There is a distinct difference there. (Yesterday | post #47)
Any religion qualifies as a cult. That's not new. As for Christ, he is NOT Jesus in Heaven, nor as Michael on earth. Your understanding of it is sorely limited (Yesterday | post #1255)
Where does it say "The Word" Jesus? Where your problem is, Good, is you are not differentiating, where that needs to be done, yet you visa versa collaborate where it should not be done. So it ends up confusing (Yesterday | post #1254)
The main thing about GOD's name is it identifies him. Each of us humans have a name. Makes sense GOD would have one also. AND hew certainly knows who we mean when we call on him as Jehovah GOD. (Thursday | post #897)
I never said there is a name of Jesus in Heaven. There was no Jesus, until he was born on earth. Learn to read. (Thursday | post #1250)
Worry about your own self and where you stand regarding the Bible....not me. I feel I know very well where I stand, thank you. (Thursday | post #83)
Sorry, the word should be "context, not contest". I have long nails, and sometimes they hit a wrong key. (Thursday | post #1246)
Good Boy...seems you are taking some things out of contest, with the scriptures. Of course, Jesus didn't exist until a certain time. Michael is/was Jehovah GOD's Heavenly Son. Starting from the beginning, Adam the perfect man in the Garden of Eden, lost the opportunity for his offspring to attain the hope of everlasting life. After that time, there was no man on earth who could qualify as a Redeemer to give hope to Adam's imperfect offspring(all of us). The Creator's Laws are perfectly balanced...IE, an eye for eye, a tooth for tooth. No one other than a perfect human could serve as a balance to Adam, the perfect man. Yet Jehovah GOD began early on to plan, and provide a perfect Redeemer. Who could fill that need? His Son, Michael was the perfect solution, and willing gave up his Heavenly position, was born as a man on earth, who was to be called Jesus. That's why Jesus had no earthly father. His Father was Jehovah GOD He grew to adulthood and paved the way for mankind to regain the opportunity for everlasting life, as a Ransom. John 3:16. Rev.1:1, 3:14. After that, he died a horrendous death, and promised to provide his Apostles the chance to serve as Kings(Isaiah 32:1)in a Kingdom in Heaven, that his Father, Jehovah GOD, had promised him.1Peter 3:22. He made it clear, that his death, would NOT end his life, in a permanent way. He ascended into Heaven, and became GOD's Son, Michael again. 1Peter 3:18. He promised his followers that he would be with them(not visible)thru the end of this system as we know it. Matt. 24:14. He had fulfilled his life, prior to his death(Heb.2:9,14,1 7), by pointing people to his Father's Heavenly Kingdom, and that it could only be gained thru him. In Rev.7,8, it proves he was once again Michael. (Thursday | post #1245)
