Joseph Smith=false prophet, false Christ. "Come on! ye prosecutors! ye false swearers! > All hell, boil over! Ye burning mountains, > roll down your lava! for I will come out on top at last. > I have more to boast of than ever any man had. > I am the only man that has ever been able to keep a whole church > together since the days of Adam. > A large majority of the whole have stood by me. > Neither Paul, John, Peter, nor Jesus ever did it. > I boast that no man ever did such a work as I. > The followers of Jesus ran away from Him; but the Latter-day Saints > never ran away from me yet... > When they can get rid of me, the devil will also go." Pahoran-I've worked around enough LDS to know they do what is expected of them by the church and the church leaders. Just like the JW's and conservative Catholic countries. They "know" what they are to do. They even "check up" on each other at work. Wouldn't want a stray aka free mind you know. (Tuesday | post #136)

I'd like to hear how many motorcycle riders wear reflective orange vests at all. Probably as many bicycle riders, well maybe a FEW bicycle riders, but they usually wear jerseys-which people whine about because the cyclists are not fat like the whiners. Full face helmets are gradually working their way into MC riders lives. They DO limit vision quite a bit peripherally (even the $500 versions like I have 2 of)which is a primary objection and they are hotter in the summer in warm regions. They also take getting used to-much like people have trouble getting used to a CPAP machine and most won't even use it even if it kills them. As a dirt biker you have the constant risk of running into trees, off cliffs etc. and wearing a full face helmet is something you probably started with, and crashes are common in the dirt bike world. In road world crashes (except for dropping a bike almost stopped) are rare (or insurance would never cover a bike) and for those who think they are safe, they feel the bigger helmets are over done. I personally have gotten used to them and prefer them. And i ride a Harley Heritage Softail. I have on several ocasions gotten an inattentive drivers attention before they pulled out in front of me and myself, before I ever started riding avoided hitting MC's BECAUSE I heard their pipes, as they were in my blind spot. Two wrongs don't make a right. You don't shoot at people and how would you describe a "swarm". People passing all around? REACTION is not the same as response. Reaction is not a thought out behavior. And I have been pregnant myself TWICE. And I must wonder WHY was he armed AND with a loaded weapon. Why don't YOU ask that? No-I am not loyal to "the tribe", I am not a fan of 1%'ers, the stats on "outlaw" type bikers. Many people live under the delusion that most or all bikers are 1%'rs, which is untrue and reflective of the chosen ignorance people live under. They prefer to assume the worst about any given group of people, especially if they are noticble. I don't like loud boom boxes playing the bass in cars, or certain music types. Will I shoot somebody because I am startled or there are a lot of them? No. Would I justify shooting one because a person was frightened by some? No.Some people would like to shoot certain ethnic groups congregating near malls and city parks because of percieved gang affiliations. Should they, since they are afraid and the feel the people do this on purpose? No. How often have you seen an actual swarming-aka attack (not just a group passing by) of bikers or heard of one vs gang attacks? Who's got the highest percentage of attacks? You know who. Not the bikers. (Tuesday Nov 24 | post #39)

Been to the Novato Store. Bunch of really nice people. Bought my first HD bike here. The Redwood Credit Union kept a "bike of the month" there. A loan officer was buying one and at many hospitals the staff, nurses, Dr, (including ER) medical imaging, lab, pharmacy etc ride-usually HD, but also BMW, a few Honda, Yamaha a few supermoto's. It is easy to tell most of the posters here don't ride, or even "get it" they just lke to vent safely behind the screen (Monday Nov 23 | post #35)

LOLOL-Sometimes I gotta LOVE my typo's too! I LOVE how the LDS always states that anything they do not approve of or generate is biased and untrue. LOLOL-Why don't they write a song and put it in the refrain since they say it over and over. http://www.sfgate. com/cgi-bin/articl e.cgi... More anti-gay, religious-motivate d crimes reported By DEVLIN BARRETT, Associated Press Writer Monday, November 23, 2009 Overall, the number of reported hate crime incidents increased about 2 percent. These same figures show a nearly 11 percent increase in hate crime offenses based on sexual orientation, and a nearly 9 percent increase in hate crime offenses based on religion. The largest category, racially motivated hate crimes, fell less than 1 percent. Joe Solmonese, president of Human Rights Campaign, the nation's largest gay civil rights group, called the numbers unacceptable and said they showed the need for the expanded federal hate crimes law signed last month by President Barack Obama. Among all categories of hate crimes, roughly a third are vandalism or property damage. About 30 percent involve intimidation of some kind, and another 30 percent were physical attacks. The FBI does not compare year-to-year trends in hate crimes, saying the number of agencies reporting changes too much. In fact, the bureau cautioned that the increase reported Monday might well be due to more agencies tracking such incidents. Brian Levin, director for the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism at California State University-San Bernardino, warned that the national numbers may be misleading because some states — like California, New Jersey, and Ohio — are good at reporting hate crimes while others — Georgia, Hawaii, Mississippi and Pennsylvania — are not. "The quality of the data is so variable and in some instances so bad that it makes trend analysis extraordinarily difficult, if not impossible," said Levin. "Generally, states that have effective data collection also have effective training and procedures to address these crimes." In 2008, 2,145 different agencies reported hate crimes incidents, while the year before 2,025 agencies did this reporting. In total, there were 7,783 hate crimes reported to the FBI last year, and seven murders were categorized as hate crimes. The FBI data is based on information law enforcement agencies voluntarily report to the bureau. Half of all hate crimes are motivated by race, according to the FBI. One out of every five is driven by religious bias, and one out of every six is based on sexual orientation bias. The Anti-Defamation League said Monday's figures — the highest total for hate crimes since 2001 — show a need for a new national initiative to combat bias crimes. Less than a month ago, Obama signed a bill expanding those covered by the federal law against hate crimes. Previously, the law had protected those attacked on the basis of race, color, religion or national origin. The law signed by Obama now covers crimes based on gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or disability. It also removes the restriction that federal authorities can launch investigations of victims who were engaged in federally protected activities like voting or free speech. Teachers have a most challenging job
Yes, and sadly many teachers punish them for it before they are even in 3rd grade. I know MANY parents who volunteer more to keep an eye on the teachers than just to help the underfunded trench workers, burdened by the bloated administrators. (Sunday Nov 22 | post #6)
