13:17 Bishop sure on Catholic education
I disagree. The Church needs to stay on as the final authority. If a school is going to be called a Catholic school then the local Bishop should have final authority on what and how the school teaches. Otherwise they will become like Catholic universities that are CINO. Catholic in Name Only. (Tuesday | post #1)
Priest at embattled Mo. parish willing to resign
It seems that a most of St. Louis Catholics and a fair number of Bozeks own parishioners would like for him to leave. But this is more than likely just a negotating ploy, as Bozek the clowns contract is up for renewal this November. For a better report see ... http://epiph.blogs pot.com/2006/07/ex communications-in- st-louis.html (Tuesday | post #2)
This is not a true Catholic Priest... ... "The priest has had his faculties removed by his bishop, meaning that he cannot publicly act as a priest by doing such things as offering masses." He is furthermore listed in the rentapriest website. This site is for people who want to pretend they have a Priest, but also not have anyone tell them that they are doing wrong. So you shop around until you find a fake/invalid priest who will go along with whatever you say. (Saturday Nov 14 | post #3)
Ethiopia Discovers Mine With Gold Inside Worth 1.7 Billion
Dear faithful Internet (L)users. You were choses to receive the address due to your impeckable references. Please let me know if you have in fact been pecked. I am Kunte Kinte, the Minister of Mines (MOM) in Ethiopia. We recently discovered $1.7 billion dollars in gold buried underground. Being an honest, faithful Chrisitan I want you to help me get it out of the country. Just send me your name, address, bank account number, password and a nekkid picture of your wife. For helping me with this I will give you 40% of the money collected. I'm not sure how much that is as no one in my country can count that high. But it's a bunch of moola. Don't tell anyone you are doing this as they will get mad and want to rob you. Just send me the above information and we will all be filthy rich. (Friday Nov 13 | post #184)
Ireland seeks extradition of priest from Indiana
It's amazing that with the economic downturn how many people are just now remembering abuse from 40 years ago. I've noticed that none of the many lawsuits involve abuse from with the last couple of years. It's always, .." I just remember being abused 20, 25, 30 years ago." Right.... (Friday Nov 13 | post #3)
Salt Lake OKs gay rights laws with Mormon backing
I'm always amused at how the homosexuals and atheists get so upset with the LDS for having a lot of influence in the Utah region. They won't acknowledge that that area was settled and developed mostly by members of the LDS. But now that there is wealth already created and it's a beautiful place to live the minority parasites get upset that they don't get to dictate the laws for the majority. With their lack of morals and foresight they have turned California into a disease infested, bankrupt, polluted cesspool. Now like rats fleeing a sinking ship and spreading the plague they are trying to contaminate any other place where decent people just want to live, raise their families and worship GOD. European court: No crucifixes in Italian schools
This must really stink to have a supra-governmental body in charge of your nation. What is the purpose of having a country if your culture and laws are being dictated by others? I'm thankful to live in the U.S. where we have a solid group that fights against the U.N. and European decisions affecting us. If I wanted to be subject to laws imposed by another nation then I would move to that nation. It sounds like Europeans need to leave their continent entirely to get any freedom. Maine Voters Reject Gay Marriage
But gay marriage is not a civil right any more than I have the civil right to drive drunk while shooting my rifle out of the truck. Gays have the exact same civil rights to marriage that I do. The right to marry one person of the opposite sex, subject to age, consent, current state of marriage, etc. What you want is a new right for the gays. I want the civil right to drive drunk and shoot my rifle. To deny me that civil right is to deny me a right based on profiling and stereotyping of other drunk drivers. (Wednesday Nov 4 | post #113)
Maine Voters Reject Gay Marriage
According to the NY Times at http://www.nytimes .com/2009/11/05/us /05marriage.html?r ef=global-home ..... "They had far more money, ground troops and political support, and geography was on their side, given that New England has been more accepting of same-sex marriage than any other region of the country. Yet gay-rights advocates suffered a crushing loss in Maine ..." And this is from the NY Times. Hardly a right wing viewpoint. Face it, morality and normalcy carried the day. Having more ground troupes apparently just means that the gays were more whiney and demostrative. But the quiet decent people won the day. (Wednesday Nov 4 | post #106)

Hispanic community glows over milestone
Congratulations. It's hard to believe he is the first Mexican born Priest to be ordained in the Diocese. But that (to me) is not the important part. Getting a new Priest is the great thing! Congratulations again. (Monday Nov 2 | post #2)
Episocopal bishop opens door to Catholics
I haven't studied what the Catholic Church actually said. It's my understanding, however, that the Catholic faith hasn't changed to adjust to the Episocopalians. What has changed is that a couple of the Episocopalian rites are being kept. So the Episocopalians turned Catholic will not be allowed to have women priest and bishops, or marry gays in the churches. They may keep some of their prayer books and the order of how they do mass. i.e. when to kneel, sit, etc. Again, I haven't studied this. So if the Pope has actually said that what was once a sin for Catholics is now allowed then please correct me. I do know about the married priest issue. This is not new. It's just that this is the first time that the Catholic church might get 1,000 priest in one event. I did read that the Episocopalian Bishop who is converting will not be a Bishop anymore due to him being married. (Friday Oct 30 | post #3)
