Black men its time to take accountablity
When you are down, that is the role of the woman to help you get back up. But when the man is able and capable, he should be the provider and do it within the security of his being a man. People everywhere, allday, will try to find ways to use you. But if you know that woman at home has got your back, then whether or not you pay for the dates for 2 years should be a non-issue. In the comfort of your own self and the awareness of who you are is where none of the non-issues even cross your mind. It takes work. By no means do I say any of this lightly. But I say it because I am a woman with a man who is really trying to learn how to really be in a relationship. Not that I'm an expert but I do know what it means to have family, something which is slightly foreign to him.
