It does not matter whether or not you believe He was the Son of the living God. It matters that history speaks against you. We have more archeological evidence of christ than we know what to do with. No reasonable scientist would ever question his existence. There are records from antiquity. This fact of Christ's existence is irrefutable. Only your stubborn hard head would have you believe a lie. Peace Miss Misinformed. (Friday Nov 27 | post #303)

Thank you for understanding what I meant by my statements. Jah bless, keep, and preserve your life dear friend. In God's Love, without condition.. Peace and Love. Equal rights and justice for all. (Friday Nov 27 | post #4958)
I concur. These laws were passed to keep billions in the pockets of the timber industry and of course, to opress through racial disparity an entire people. Cannabis Prohibition is wrong. (Friday Nov 27 | post #14)
Marijuana kills cancer cells and protects healthy cells.
You betray yourself friend. You attack with insulting words. I attack with logic and reason. You are a hateful person. Do you feel better when you treat others with contempt. You continue to spread lies and misinformation to vilify medical marijuana and I will continue to be a front against you. I draw the line in the sand. Step over. I will be right there ready to refute with logic, reason, and most of all, compassion. Peace Hater. (Friday Nov 27 | post #61)
Is Marijuana a direct Gateway to hard drug use?
Daniel I know you are being light hearted. Exactly. Saying that Marijuana leads to hard drug use is akin to saying," Drinking water will lead to milk consumption. The truth is, as stated in the Institutue of Medicine Report from 1999: " In the sense that marijuana use typically precedes rather than follows initiation of other illicit drug use, it is indeed a "gateway " drug. But because underage smoking and alcohol use typically precede marijuana use, marijuana is not the most common, and is rarely the first, "gateway " to illicit drug use. [[[There is no conclusive evidence that the drug effects of marijuana are causally linked to the subsequent abuse of other illicit drugs.]]]" (Friday Nov 27 | post #5)

I'm glad to see that most people agree with me on this issue. We should at the least allow Medical Cannabis without fear of incarceration and I agree that if the substance is safe for medical use, there is no reason why people shouldn't be able to consume cannabis for recreation instead of encouraging Americans to imbibe alcohol and tobacco. Both are dangerous and kill countless millions each year in the States. Marijuana has never caused an overdose, in fact it would take approximately 1500 pounds being smoking in under 15 mintues to illicit a toxic effect. It is simply impossible to kill yourself by smoking/ingesting Cannabis. The science simply shows it's a safer substance. And as such, Marijuana should be made legal for adults over the age of 21, regardless of the person's medical need. Marijuana is safe, effective medicine. (Friday Nov 27 | post #13)
MESSAGE FROM A SERVANT OF GOD.
True religion is man-made and evil. Following rote and ritual will not make one holy. We are weak. He IS STRONG. God's glory is shown when we submit before his authority and enter into a loving relationship with Him. Remember what Christ said about those saying, 'Lord Lord. I counter that not all who claim to be believers will find themselves in paradise. Accepting God's love and sacrifice for your sins is all there is. God's love is unconditional and has no need of religion. (Friday Nov 27 | post #4955)
Marijuana IS far safer than alcohol or tobacco.
Vaporizing Medical Cannabis effectively removes the risk of generating the carcinogens found in ANY combusted material. Therefore, your argument is negated and meaningless. Not everyone who advocates for the medical use of Marijuana is a 'pot-head', as you say. How very narrow in your thinking you must be. You are being purposefully insulting. That is not neccessary friend. We are your fellow citizens. We are human being and we deserve the same rights to equality as yourself. If Medical Marijuana alleviates the suffering of your sick neighbors, allow them to have safe access to that said medicine, don't work against your fellow citizens. As a famous person once said, " Let Go and Let Love." Show some compassion for your fellow human beings friend, consider what it would be like to have no way to reduce your pain unless you ingested Marijuana. Consider the fear of being arrested for choosing to medicate yourself with a medically accepted therapeutic substance recommended by your doctor. You fear that your neighbors will feel the need to be 'concerned' and report you. You fear that the only effective medicine you have will be robbed from you. You fear you will be forced into incarceration for alleviating your suffering. That is not a healthy fear. Would you care to feel that way? Stop harrassing patients. (Friday Nov 27 | post #68)
Marijuana IS far safer than alcohol or tobacco.
However, the science base shows that there is no conclusive causal link between Marijuana smoking and cancer. Marijuana has a 1 fold risk of cancer. Tobacco has a 21 fold risk of cancer. I advocate vaporizing marijuana, it is the most effective way of releasing the therepeutic compounds without generating toxic carcinogens. Yes, any smoke going into the lungs can cause irriation and in some cases tissues can change slightly. I again say that no matter what, it is far safer to smoke Marijuana than it is to consume alcohol or tobacco. And eating marijuana in brownies is a slow release, and best for people with colitis and chrons. Most people and even medical doctors admit, choose to smoke cannabis simply because it is the most efficient mode deliverly. Again, vaporizing your herb negates any such "smoking " argument. Peace and thanks for supporting safe access to effective medicine. (Friday Nov 27 | post #67)
Marijuana IS far safer than alcohol or tobacco.
If all activist fealt such deafeat we would not have 13 medical marijuana laws passed in under 15 years. That is progress. And the great calamity of which you allude to is already here. We are in the great economic depression since the Great Depression and the state of New Mexico estimates at least four years to completely recover. I know that it is because of grass roots reformers that we have accomplished so much. At least I have an ally in you friend, you know the truth about Cannabis. Please, even if people scoff, talk about marijuana friend. Take the chance and just maybe you might change someone's perspective. I can't give up now. We are winning. This isn't about marijuana, it's about liberty and equality for all citizens. I will keep fighting. I hope you can find it in you to not give up. peace and good luck. (Friday Nov 27 | post #66)
Is Marijuana a direct Gateway to hard drug use?
Again I reiterate, from Marijuana and Medicine: Assessing the Science Base (1999) Institute of Medicine (IOM) http://www.nap.edu /openbook.php?reco rd_id=6376&pag e=6 Page 6 "There is no conclusive evidence that the drug effects of marijuana are causally linked to the subsequent abuse of other illicit drugs." I am a believer and I of course consume cannabis for pain alleviaton and recreation. I don't know what our friend is trying to accomplish. He wishes to ridicule not debate. He say's he is pro cannabis reform yet seeks to vilify Marijuana at every opportunity. I have not once gotten through to him. Childish is word I would use. What does what Jesus would do have to do with a debate concerning marijuana's effectiveness as a treatment option for cancer. He can't be open so he attacks with petty little taunts. wah wah wah Viejo.. wah wah wah.... (Friday Nov 27 | post #59)
State gives nod to medical marijuana dealers
I feel for your and I want you to know that once you start the cannabis therapy you should found yourself being slowly but surely weaned off of those addicting pharmaceuticals. People like yourself deserve to have the most effective medicine, and if Medical Marijuana alleviates your suffering without any undue side effects, then you should be able to do so without fear of reprisal from authority. The programme in New Mexico is young but is blossoming beautifully. There is no charge to acquire a medical cannabis license. A $15 dollar fee is charged to apply for a grower's license or you may choose one of the four operating dispenseries to provide your medicine, but they do charge 14 dollars per gram of product. If you need assistance in applying to the programme, I would be able to provide some initial information to help you get started. (Friday Nov 27 | post #47)
State gives nod to medical marijuana dealers
You'are a right-wing hypocrite. Just another crazy thing to hear from the decrepid old boys club. Times are changing, and people realize the truth about marijuana. It is effective medicine for the seriously ill, sick, suffering, and dying. Medical Marijuana in New Mexico is the first state regulated law of it's kind. The new law passed in Rhode Island copies our system. New Mexico law allows for department of health officials to audit non profits on a daily basis, with our without prior notice. With regulation comes control. It is a great step forward by the state. Only four new dispenseries were approved but well over 11 have been forwarded to the dpt of health for approval. Each producer has a 95 plant limit. Patients are allowed four producing(mature) and up to 12 seedlings. Medical Marijuana has passed in 13 states in under fifteen years. Maryland doesn't count. The only provide for a medical defense in state court, they provide no medicine or regulation. Progress is being made. Marijuana consumers have not become the slippery slope. Regulating Marijuana and possibly even taxing it, makes common sensse. Remove the drug from the black market and you decimate nearly 70 percent of all illicit sales. The fact is that the Mexican drug cartel families rely upon illegal low grade marijauna sales to fund their overall operations. We need sensible and compassionate drug laws. We need reform now. No one should be jailed for alleviating their pain and suffering. (Friday Nov 27 | post #46)
