I don’t mean to sound ignorant but maybe on this subject I am. I thought calling persons of darker color Black was offensive to some people? possible move to area

I love Charlotte. I like South Park it is older and developed, very nice, very clean and taken care of by residence and the city. I now live in the Ballantyne area it is young, lots of families and kids, very nice, friendly, and I love it, very clean and taken care of. I heard you should stay away from the West side but I have no personal experience with that so I could be just repeating a rumor. Dilworth is also older and developed…very nice. You are not too far of any Ocean, Mountain, Country, or city. (unless the only idea of a city is NY then you are quite far away)  (Wednesday Nov 25 | post #7)

I think papi is Latin American for daddy? Not positive, have never heard anyone say pappy before. I am southern but my father is from Reggio Di Calabria Italy so we call him papa or padre. We did call our mother mamma when we were young by never heard anyone say mammy. That sounds funny. :) I have only been in NC for a short time. A blimp without any lifting gas, the empty ship (GZ-20) weighs about 12,840 pounds. Inflated with helium it weighs only 100-200 pounds, depending on the amount of fuel, payload and ballast aboard. How to get a post deleted!

I just wanted to share for it took me much research to figure it out. I had to because my sons name was put on the forum in Florida along with many others; teens being teens but many minors’ names were put on the forum in provocative and really distasteful ways. LOL Seems like a good thing especially if a minor or someone’s name is put on the forum. I don't think it has yet but I am new to Charlotte and the forum. I am respectful to all. I know I will be made fun of but I have to add I have ADHD and Dyslexia. Although dyslexia is thought to be the result of neurological differences, it is not an intellectual disability. Dyslexia is an educational disability. Dyslexia is diagnosed in people of all levels of intelligence: below average, average, above average, and highly gifted. I do spell check every time but it does not catch my miss use of homonyms and typos…one I do often put a t at the end of no for some reason and it does not catch that either. I will try to proof read as much as possible. I just wanted to put that out there and apologies in advance I know people can't stand bad spelling and grammar. I am not stupid just have a few things I hope some are tolerant of. Unless I say something stupid then of course I get what I deserve! I really like topix.
