I am not sure how long you have lived in America, I have been here long enough to know that you are not better off defensing the so called African americans, they don't like you as an african and always find something to make them seem different from african blacks. How many black americans will tell you that they are half white or half indian ? a lot, guess how many ever told you about their african heritage? not many, olboy I have lived most of my adult life in the states, its actually better to see people as people not whether they are black or white. I don't really think that African Americans have any love for Africans. You know how it is when you are leaving home for America, all those hopes of reuniting with African Americans and stuff, those are illussions when you get here you will learn the hard way, how most of them hate you as an African. Why is it so important to label your self mixed or whatever, if your behind is negro guess what white folks don't care about mixed or bi whatever you call yourself. For one they do not use more than the color of your skin to judge you, you should know that by now. they already labelled you black and sees you as another inferior being. Breaking it down for them makes no sense, they do not see you any different than me who is 100% African Black. Trying to differentiate yourself and make yourself different from the rest of the black folks is breaking the already marginalized black nation apart. People are actually skin deep. Americans do not know that, because USA is a country with long history of descrimination, color classification, injustice, white supremacy and racial divisions. Everything human related in US is classified by color of your skin. To get a job, apply for school, get a loan,enter a train, vote in the election, run for offices, even live in a neighbourhood.
