when you have concentrated amounts of these toxin producing molds in an indoor environment which would be more many times more than the amount outside then it can and will wreak havok on a healthy immune system. And if you have never had the unfortunante experience of being in an indoor environment which had years worth of molds growing in the HVAC system and therefore blowing on you in concentrated amounts be glad (Dec 2, 2008 | post #2)

This is the kind of thing that needs "standards. " Many people are and will get sick from mold toxins and will not get the help they need. Most will be affected because they were not told that the place they might live or work has a problem. Why? Because the insurance industry and many others know it would cost a tremendous amount of money to take care of their problem. So, instead of fixing their "problem " they would rather continue with their propaganda that mold toxins are not harmful (although that is documented as false) and now that that's a little harder they use the fact that we do not have years and years of testing for some "standards " such as how many colonies of a particular mold and for how long does one have to be exposed to it and what is the square footage of the place and what if there is another mold which there usually is and how does that change the senario and on and on and on ......Common sense needs to be appleid more often. They twist this lack of years worth of deaths for their "standards " to save their money and keep letting people get ill. Now, back to essential oils - that would need to be studied and "stict standards" applied to the studies because I (after having unbelievable amounts of mold growth blowing on me and reproducing so much that the air is so thick you can hardly breathe) would not be in an environment that has been "diffused " unless there was 100% proof by the most reputable scientists this made all that toxin producing mold disappear. I would not move into a place such as I moved into (and it was well known by those for years) even if it has been so called "remediated. It is hard to understand what that is like until it happens to you. That is why all those who are saving money and making others ill should have to live in that very same place and then see if they would bring in their children. No they would not. New ethics laws argued as 'not the gold standard'

It applies to Louisiana because it is an example of a very serious public health issue that is currently being covered up by those in a certain state agency who are responsible for allowing people to continue living in an apartment complex that has been proven to be extremely unsafe and continue to allow more to move in. Also responsible are the previous owners and the residential management company. All involved know and knew of this situation when this place went through a sale and a certain report about the conditions of these buildings was ignored along with others. Too much money involved to acknowledge this situation so they opted to go with their money. The courts also side with them even with evidence. The reports that were recently made public are being ignored. If you look at previous posts all is explained. It is an example of the continued unbelievable level of disgusting corruption in Louisiana. Recent other political news shows this too. This is no different and it needs to change. Those involved in this know what this article refers to. (Jul 25, 2008 | post #2)
Rep. Barrow's son's bond reduced in murder case
No, this is not the way things are done, this is "special ". Not to sound harsh but you may be a little naive. Maybe you have just been sheltered from the realities of what goes on out there. Sometimes innocence is bliss. If that is not the case then all I have to say is...that is not the case (Jun 23, 2008 | post #19)
Rep. Barrow's son's bond reduced in murder case
I am from Baton Rouge. This is very minor compaired to the usual unethical things going on there. Yes I sounded shocked and that was sarcasm. Her so is guilty and very violent. Yes we know she did not do it. It is still unethical for special treatment. Its little things like that then they get bigger and bigger (Jun 23, 2008 | post #16)
Rep. Barrow's son's bond reduced in murder case
NO - Tell me I did not read that!!!! Again, corrupt legal system. They need to vote out the ethics board because It looks even more stupid to have one (Jun 23, 2008 | post #14)
Rep. Barrow's son's bond reduced in murder case
After finding out first hand how corrupt the court system and judges are this is not surprising. In fact, they don't even try to cover it up a little. It is just in your face now because they know there is no one you can call for justice because they are all corrupt also! If they are not corrupt then they just do not want to get involved. This guy is so violent he should not be walking around. But he is a politician's son and better yet a Louisiana politician's son. Rep. Barrow should be ashamed to show her face in public and she should be ashamed and afraid of her son. All this does for her son, who has very serious issues already, is make him feel he is even more exempt from following the laws and understanding the difference between right and wrong than everyone else. Except of course politicans. I doubt he has the capacity to understand right and wrong. He murdered a person and not by accident. With everything going on in the legislature and stuff like this - La. is a joke. Just tell anybody you are from LA and they laugh. Sad,Sad,Sad (Jun 21, 2008 | post #3)
