Would You Pay $100 To Tour The Erie Makeover House?

Well, taxes are due. She couldn't pay them before and nearly lost the house at least twice. So, the timing of this doesn't surprise me in the least. Gotta raise money to pay dem taxes. Sorry bubba, but Becky's got an excellent point. The jobs may be far and few between, but they are there - er - elsewhere. Both of my sisters have moved away from Erie, and they both work at Universitys. One is director of aquatics in Wisconsin, the other teaches at a University in Maryland. Me? I stayed here. I worked, and still do, at a blue collar job. I worked for a great shop with an excellent wage. But, it closed. I've worked in an office for three years till an illness earlier this year that got me fired for missing work. Now, I'm in another office part time and collecting unemployment. Her point was that the good jobs that were here, are gone or leaving. So is everyone who needs them.  (Monday Nov 30 | post #7)

How many of the damn things should NOT be rolling? Anybody wanna guess how many bungee cords they use to hold the things together? I discovered this the other day. Bus 9760 if you want to know. This is not a good thing folks. How about the heater boxes in the bus that are so rusted out, they don't sit on the floor? Half a dozen are sporting coolant leaks.
