Proposed "Tree Presevation Ordinance" for City Limits of Mount Vernon, TX
The commerical/industrial aspect of the Tree Preservation Ordinance is a good thing...it's where private residents are subject to fees/fines of up to $1200 per tree depending on the tree if it dies or if they want it removed for whatever reason that is the problem. Also this ordinance is for the City Limits of Mt Vernon...it will not apply to property in the county... (Tuesday Nov 24 | post #5)
