He is a God of peace! But the people on this earth, like you... Disturb the peace and he has to basically "teach them a lesson" which usually ends with destruction... But it was all the peoples fault, not God.. He gave us free will to make our own choices, if you make the choice to cause harsh judgement! Then thats on you! Haha, where was God? Right in the midst of it all... Sweet heart, you must have fallen into the deception that Gods mercy and grace is all about flowers and sunshine! He deals with his children the way he sees fit. Just because he is a loving, and kind God that doesn't mean he will not give you the judgement you deserve! Just because Jesus Loves you, doesn't mean you're going to heaven. It's written in his book. Yes God is love, but love never meant letting people get away with wrong! Love also means discipline! So where was God in the midst of destruction around the world? Right there in the midst, because it was HIS judgement, upon them and that's no ones business but them and God...he allows it to happen, because it's apart of his will and his perfect plan.
