Great way to put it, Father Joe. It's so true. I want her prosecuted. And, my biggest thing is that I NEVER want her to be able to go anywhere in the US and do this to other innocent victims. We're all victims of CRIME, no matter what the APD or DA say. (Thursday Jul 31 | post #227)

Yes, I too received the phone call from Det. Downing today. I was not shocked. I understand that it may be hard to prove "intent" on her part, but wow...still a letdown. I noticed something strange in my records...it's in there twice... "At the intial Walt information appointment at least 75% of the full payment of proposed dental treatment plain is required/no refund and pt. stated that "they understand financial agreement and also understands that 75% of their case is completed outside the mouth." This one was at my first appointment and was put into the computer by Tish Hawks. The next time there are comments to this nature is 6 months later, input by Glenda Davis. It says, "Pt. stated that "they understand that this initial appointment comits them financially to 75% of there proposed dental treatment plan which will be completed outside the mouth." Pt. Stated "that they understand at anytime before, during, after or at sch. appointment for dental procedure that there dental treatment/procedur e could change." HUH??? Did anyone ever SAY any of this to any of YOU?? Not me. But, there it is....misspellings and all in my dang dental records. Were they all ready doing CYA? (Wednesday Jul 30 | post #213)

So true, jnine89! Truthfully, from a business standpoint, I thought the "spa" atmosphere could be brilliant. There are "medi-spas " all over the country. Why not incorporate it into dentistry? And her prices were very reasonable. Try going to the dentist for crowns and NOT paying upfront. Doesn't work that way. I don't know if her intent was to defraud all of us....in the beginning. She was so into herself, self promotion, the "arts", etc... Was she ever a "good" dentist? Who knows if we'll ever get that answered. She and Glenda sure acted like KPH was the ONLY cosmetic dentist in the entire world who could do the work correctly. Ugh. I'm tired of it. I just want my money back. That's all. Just spoke with Invisalign....KPH was not certified to represent them or to use their products. Greak Lake Orthodontics has two of my appliances. They mailed them out June 23, lo and behold, UPS had to send them back. I can only get these if they're sent to a dentist or orthodontist. Unfortunately, all of my monies are tied up at Care Credit. Well, just spoke with Invisalign. KPH was NOT a certified dentist with them. She was not supposed to be using their product, or representing their company. I then called Great Lakes Orthodontics. They have two of my appliances...had sent them out on June 23rd, but surprise, UPS had to return them. They will not release them to me...have to be sent to a dentist or orthodontist. Gee....my money is tied up with CareCredit....can' t afford to go see a new doc. (Friday Jul 25 | post #134)
I wish I knew. Someone needs to look at her books. Det. Downing said that they can't look at them until the DA decides to prosecute--crimina lly. And that most likely won't get done. They say it is so hard to prove criminal fraud in a business such as this. It's hard to prove that her "intent" was to defraud everyone from the very beginning. If you're so "in the know", why don't you enlighten the rest of us as to what the true story is behind all this???? Help us out. Tish is "just helping out"??? It would've helped me if she would've told me on July 7th that my appointment was cancelled due to office closure...NOT.... "doctors illness". If she is so concerned why did she then say that she would call me to reschedule my appointment??!! At that point, the office was all ready closed!! I will not believe that she is only concerned about the patients. As always, there's more to this story...and we, the patients, are only getting fed the BS. (Thursday Jul 24 | post #130)

Hey there, "born here". They were not outrageous prices. Geez, read other threads on this topic and you will see that. In other words, you should know what you're talking about before you speak. Crowns are priced from $800 to $1200 depending on the dentist. She charged me $800 per crown. So, I didn't pay an exorbitant fee. I also live in Leicester....have for 15 years now. My parents have lived here for 22 years. And, we're not "yankees ". (How that makes a difference in a fraud case is beyond me.) I don't make snide remarks about anyone's race, sex, religion, etc... I try to live by the old belief...."Wh at goes around comes around." So, I know that someday, KPH will have to answer for her crimes. I had a different situation. Couldn't seem to get Det. Downing to understand. When Glenda told me that I needed crowns on all of my upper teeth (my grinding had worn away "most of my enamel"), I balked and said that there was no way I could afford that. I also said that I should probably work on the TMJ problem first. I have worn a "bite guard" at night for years....seems to no avail. Well, Glenda jumped in and said that they could do the Invisalign at no charge, IF I would get the crown work done. She said they could shift my bottom teeth to get my jaw in the correct placement, THEN do the crowns. So, twenty-one months later, my Invisalign treatment is still not complete (ok, that was free) AND I have received none of the crowns that I paid for. To me, that means I had no treatment. Maybe not in anyone else's book, but in mine....I KNOW how my billing was explained to me. And on my Treatment sheet, it says exactly that. "Invisalign.. ..n/c" (Wednesday Jul 23 | post #173)
