When I was having extreme insomnia, my doctor tried me on 4 different prescriptions that were "off label treatments." Two were an anti-depressant, one was a blood pressure medication and one was a sedative. Some drugs have different functions, but they're not considered mainstream treatments as not enough research has been done to prove the off label uses. Wellbutrin, for example claims to treat depression, ADHD, obesity and is also used to aid in smoking cessation. Most men won't want to shave armpits

I don't think it's simply to make women appear more feminine. It's actually cleaner. Because the odor that comes from sweating is less likely to stick anywhere that has no hair. I don't even wear deodorant most days. And I know several guys who shave their armpits for a similar reason. It keeps you cleaner, it's less maintenance, more dry and think about it... if you're trying to cuddle with someone and there's armpit hair tickling you, it's not very sexy.
