Forced birth control for welfare participants

Yes... And I will tell you why. It isn't right for working people to have to pay additional taxes to raise other people's children who aren't contributing to society. Often women on welfare that have multiple children are attempting to raise those children in violent living conditions where drug use and domestic violence is prevelent. I do not pay taxes to condone this type of behavior. Before the government started mailing welfare checks, recipients had to physically pick-up their checks at a currency exchange office. I personally saw women getting out of expensive automobiles driven by their pimps to get their welfare checks each month. And I am not talking about 1 or 2. I am talking about 1 after another all day long on the first of every month. And there was usually a rush to get there before the doors closed that business day so there would be a whole parking lot of pimps waiting for their women who were stuck in line. One time, there was a fist fight between rival prostitutes while they were in line to get their welfare checks, while their kids stood there and watched. Our system is broken. And offering automatic deposit or mailed welfare checks to crack adicts and prostitutes is not doing anything to fix the problem. The quickest way to turn our economy around and make headway on the War on Drugs is to do away with the welfare system. The people that need it, rarely get it. And the people that get it, only abuse it. Do away with welfare, all together. You will see the economy rebound in a farely short amount of time. And it will turn our national deficit from red ink to black ink within 15 years.  (Aug 1, 2007 | post #53)

Serah, I think it is time that you, me, and Two Feathers have a Pow-Wow to find out just what in heck is going on. Expect to be visited in three days time.  (Jul 13, 2007 | post #11579)

If Christianity was proven to be a fraud

It's just that I had an Indian Shaman that's been dead since the trail of tears visit me in a dream on night and he was armed with some chilling insight into current world events and some of the comments he made echoed some of those made by Serah a while back in this thread. So I was wondering if she had met the same dead indian that I did. Haven't gotten a response as of yet. I guess I can take that as a yes.  (Jul 13, 2007 | post #11577)

No Toolrules, that was directed at Serah. And he or she has yet to respond. It is a small world after all.  (Jul 13, 2007 | post #11571)

If Christianity was proven to be a fraud

We all make our own Heaven or Hell depending what we do or don't do during the present time. The phrase "There is no time like the present." could not be more true. As it effects our past and future at the same time. If you could go back and change something in your past, how would that effect your present and your future. The time for change is now... what ever the desired change happens to be. That is the secret to life. You will not get younger and the quality of life that you will experience in the future largely depends on what you do now. If you do nothing... nothing will happen. What goes around, comes around.  (Jul 13, 2007 | post #11570)

If Christianity was proven to be a fraud

That which is real now... may not be real later. Are your memories of your childhood real? Is the love and affection you have for your spouse real? Is the wind that blows your hair as you walk into work in the morning real? What is real? And what is not? I believe I have made my point.  (Jul 13, 2007 | post #11568)
