You hit the nail on the head. I just booked a cruise with RC to the BAHAMAS. Passports numbers are one of the first things they ask for. Did they sneak on board or something?? Maybe that's the real reason they were kicked off (May 1, 2008 | post #97)

LOL... That was funny!! But I can't understand what all these people are so worked up about! A nice punch in the face always gets me fired up for prayer (Apr 24, 2008 | post #52)
Point taken...but think about how much more efficient public transportation is in Europe. Very few people drive on a daily basis there, and most of the cars are TINY. I lived in Spain for a while, and the buses there are CLEAN, cheap, and ALWAYS on time. And another upside is that the people, as a whole, are a lot more in shape because they actually walk the few blocks from their stops to their jobs, schools, homes, etc. Not a bad tradeoff if you ask me (Apr 24, 2008 | post #52)
45 mpg??!! A smaller car is looking like a GREAT investment right about now...I almost cried when I saw $3.69 downtown today. I filled up my tank at $3.45 and I'm trying to work USC's shuttle system as much as possible. SC really needs to step its public transportation system up! And SOON!! I'm not desperate enough to take my chances with Central Midlands RTA just yet...but it may be coming (Apr 24, 2008 | post #51)
Great story, but shouldn't the headline read "Give UP the Life of Luxury" ??? (Apr 24, 2008 | post #4)
hard to believe only 350 ladies showed up for this...i'm sure many more simply didn't quite make the "Cosmo cut"...clearl y this could not have been a "Come one, come all"-type event!!! (Apr 20, 2008 | post #7)

and this relates to my comment....hooowwww (Apr 8, 2008 | post #55)
Now for my real comment...I actually agree with u, Ron. Most kids only eat one meal per day at school--lunch. Why don't parents focus on making sure their children eat a balanced breakfast and dinner? A piece of fruit and cereal for breakfast and a healthy home-cooked meal in the evening will do a lot more good than a piece of pizza every now and then can do harm. Teaching kids to make healthy choices is not the school's and/or legislature's responsibility. That's like blaming the school for your child starting to smoke/drink/have sex. Of course the opportunity will be present at school, but it is ultimately the parents' responsibility to teach kids appropriate behavior--even when they are away from home (Apr 8, 2008 | post #35)
