I am seeking full custody she is 15 was 14 when this occured her Dad is a peice of crap and she had not seen him for several months because this isn't the first time he has endangered her life and i had no reservations about her going with him that night because he had moved back in with his parents who absolutely adore there grand daughter and are wonderful people.But the icing has been put on the cake for the last time. I divorced him when she was still a baby because he was abusive and i wasn't going to raise my child under those conditions.I thank God every day for her I have told her that she saved my life because when she was born she was the reason I threw his sorry ass out and never looked back. I am now blessed with a wonderful husband of almost 14 yrs and two other children.When i had the talk with her about sex and drugs she asked for a purity ring and then told me i never had to worry about her drinking or doing drugs when i ask her why she said my Dad is my anti-drug and i never want to be like him so as the saying goes some good comes out of something bad.  (Friday Nov 27 | post #3)

On 10-16-09 my daughter was a victim in a mugging while she was with my exhusband. A so called friend of his called to ask where he was then showed up then left and returned again while standing outside two black males approached my daughters father asking for pills. i believe this was a set up due to this so called friend. i do know his name but i'm not posting this to drop names.I have called numerous times left my number and gone to the police station several times.They do not have the courtesy to even give me a call even if they don't have any leads as the mother of this child I think at the very least they could do is give me a phone call. One of the men had a gun and the other had a knife. One of these thugs put their hands on my child by jerking her out of the car and ripping her jacket open to search her. Any mother out there knows the rage you would feel if this was your child. I wonder if the officers have children if so they should ask themselves what can I do to catch these jerks. I'm not the type of person to bad mouth people and I do not mean any disrespect at all to our law enforcement I simply want them to do all they can to catch these thugs so my child can have some peace instead of nightmares.  (Thursday Nov 26 | post #1)

it sounds to me like the cop had his buddy with him and was going to do a little showing off with the check out my little badge and my big bad gun.he had no reason to go there no warrant nothing.these people did not deserve to die by any means but it should be a lesson for other cops to not be so cocky just because you wear a badge and carry a gun does not make you God.all officers should remember the oath that they take.i do hope both brothers are found not guilty.they are not model citizens but then again they didn't go looking for trouble.trouble came to them.  (Nov 17, 2009 | post #12)

should midtown be it's own city

Midtown,caught in the middle the people did'nt ask for it to happen this way,it just work out that way.If we countinu to just sit back and say , oh harriman will take care of us or someone else we the people are going to miss out on everything,and the fat cats of Harriman and the other two surrounding cities know this.They think that we are a bunch of dumb hillbillies that can't think for themselves.Well my brothers and sisters i am here now,things are going to change.weither they(the FAT CATS)like it or not.all the new business that are going in or the ones that are coming to midtown over the next decade,we can either sit back and be dumb little hillbillies like they want us to do or we can get the rewards from it all and have a much better quality of life ALOT BETTER.Midtown needs a visionary that is not a FAT CAT , so stand up and follow me , I promise that I will not let you down!!!! yours truly, MIDTOWNMAN01  (Nov 10, 2009 | post #1)
