Well, I can see you getting that impression but only if you can't actually read. The text plainly states that you have a right to firearms only when in a militia. By the way, I also note that this Amendment was placed in there for one and only one purpose - to mollify the southern plantation owners who wanted a national regulation allowing them to shoot slaves and their supporters in the event of a slave revolt.
