The ACLU is just like ACORN. They use their local offices to protect and defend scumbags in the name of Civil Liberties and keep scum on the street. If they do something wrong then , it is not the parent organizations fault, it is that out of control local office. I lived in Seattle in 93-96. A victims' rights group were placing the photos, addresses and sex crimes of soon to be released shitbags. They raped children, women going about thier daily business and even young men. The ACLU got involved and made the group stop because they were "violating " the shitbags right to privacy. Talk about champions of justice! Don't even try to deny or spin this.
