Gay rights group speaks to critics
Funny how it's always the "straight " guys who bring up having sex with children and cruising locker rooms. Gee, what's on your mind? (3 min ago | post #82)

You're sounding more and more like a trailer park resident with every posting. Being homosexual is much more then just some "act". You're beyond ignorant if you don't think gays are abnormal but what they do is abnormal but can't tell it's the same f'n thing. It's like saying "I don't hate black people, I just don't like their skin color". btw, you read so gay in your picture it's unreal. (10 min ago | post #79)

You're a total joke. Those that are against the LGBT community having equal rights are homophobic. Duh. And guess what, we're gonna force our equal rights upon you and if you don't like it I hope you choke on it. The United States Constitution is on our side. I guess you missed that day in history class or else you would realize the same exact thing happened with interracial marriage. (13 min ago | post #78)

Yup, your "meaning " of life is a joke. You keep on enjoying being considered a "simpleton " and realize once you're six feet under the world isn't going to remember who the fcuk you were. Keep drinking your beer on that couch watching football. Honestly you must realize you do NOTHING to help make the world go around. btw, you might want to be clued in. A skinny, good looking guy with a chick that is neither is usually a HUGE indication you're just another closet case who doesn't have enough balls to fess up. (15 min ago | post #77)

Because the "straight " population is trying to make the LGBT community be kept as second class citizens. If you didn't have the right to marry, if you could be kicked out the army, if you could be fired from you job or lose your housing you might have a problem with it. If gay people were ganging up on you with bats and beat the living shite out of you before they left you to die you might have some issues. If how the LGBT community treated straight people were causing straight youth to commit suicide you might be a bit angry. If you had the religious right telling you you're going to hell because you're straight you might be a bit pissed. Turn the table and figure out why the LGBT community might have issues. btw, I love how your own circular logic can easily be used against you. If we follow what you're suggesting then 18:22 must be about a ritual since 18:21 is. (23 min ago | post #638)
You're totally ignoring the FACT 18:22 comes right after God telling us not to sacrifice our children to Molech which is a ritual. The problem, with you, is you're dealing with facts. When Leviticus was translated to Greek the translators also told us this was a ritual impurity: One key to the proper interpretation may be the Hebrew word "to'ebah, " translated as "abomination " in the King James Version and "detestable " in the New International Version. Both English words seem to imply moral sin. However, this word was translated into the Septuagint -- the Bible used by Jesus' disciples and the early Christians -- into the Greek word "bdelygma, " which meant ritual impurity. If the writer(s) of Leviticus wished to refer to a moral violation, he/they probably would have used the Hebrew word "zimah." http://www.religio ustolerance.org/si nhebrs.htm --- So you would just like me to totally blow off the original Hebrew and Greek text and take what some uneducated bigot has to say about it. Um, I don't think so. It's funny you're trying to say since 18:23 follows 18:22 we must look at their placement however you're totally ignoring the fact 18:21 is about a ritual. (25 min ago | post #637)
More circular logic which doesn't add up. Sorry, but 18:22 comes specifically attached with "toebah" . You're reasoning of it not being placed with something else doesn't matter. Actually bestiality, I believe, is mentioned in the Bible again in terms of rituals acts. How are you getting since bestiality isn't attached with the "toebah" tag here then we must ignore it being placed with 18:22? You're reasoning is so far off it's unreal. So you would like for me to just go ahead and ignore 18:22 specifically says it's "toebah" because you say so. Again, this is perhaps the most flawed argument I've come across on Topix in a long, long time. It's so absurd that I don't even know where to begin since it's almost impossible to debate this statement from you when it's so full of holes it's unreal. Again, according to you I should blow off the "toebah" tage of 18:22 because it's not placed on 18:23. Um, OK. (30 min ago | post #636)

This letter IS about idolatry. "For this reason"... The Pagans rejected God and FOR THIS REASON God gave them over to their rituals. It's unreal you're discussing a letter about IDOLATRY and trying to tell me it's not being discussed in a context of idolatry. (14 hrs ago | post #198)
Churches targeted by 'gay' intimidation campaign
See, this is what you have. You have a group of people (fundamentalists) who have convinced themselves that they are so right, that they can take on traits or terror against those who disagree with them. (14 hrs ago | post #1653)

Churches targeted by 'gay' intimidation campaign
Jesus ran into a gay man, the Roman Centurion, in the 2nd miracle of John and even wanted to go hang out at the soldier's house. Jesus didn't seem to have a problem with homosexuals. (14 hrs ago | post #1651)
