DING! Business Class on Soutwest? Sort Of…

For the record, I am neutral about Southwest... I fly them if they get me where I am going conveniently. I don't go out of my to fly them or not to fly them... However, I have never seen an SWA flight that wasn't 90% full... And I don't appreciate having to line up an hour before the flight to get a seat I am comfortable in.  (Nov 8, 2007 | post #3)

Turbulence over proposal to reduce JFK flights -

Does anyone know what percentage of flights out of JFK are regional jet flights carrying less than 100 passengers? As we all know much of the problem is related to the growth of Delta and Jetblue and JFK-- with Delta using many slots of Comair RJ's to go to BDL, PHL, etc...  (Nov 5, 2007 | post #16)

US Airways Flight Attendent Celebrates 50 Years | The Airline I...

I thought this was a cool story. I have noticed some 'older' cabin crew on recent flights :)  (Nov 4, 2007 | post #1)

Southwest's boarding policy on the hotseat

Maybe... Maybe not... It seems to me that SWA boards a full 737 faster than most other airlines. I think the necessity of finding your own seat creates an urgency which makes the boarding process faster. Still, I prefer assigned seating.  (Jul 11, 2007 | post #2)

Southwest Airlines to accept PayPal

I think this is a very cool idea, but not necessarily something that will bring SWA additional revenue. It may be a convenience to some small percentage of passengers, however, I think its a smart move as it positions Southwest as technology savvy and not as stolid or old fashioned as some legacies...  (Jul 10, 2007 | post #1)

AirTran extending BWI service to Maine

Does anyone know if B6's service is also a success? It seems that for whatever reason its awfully hard to fail with service to PWM. _____________ TheAirlineInsider. com  (Jul 8, 2007 | post #1)
