Obama's hesitancy on war buildup sends messages
Black troops are dying in the United States Army. They have been doing so since the Aganistan and Iraq Wars started. I only mention color because you are too dumb to realize that we are all in this fight together, and the hyprocrites of this nation better come to grips that Obama's race is only an issue when you feel like bring it up! Its a stupid tactic. This man started NO war as president. He cannot win this war of public opinion because his predesessor sits in his Dallas home now free of the mess that he got us into. Who will stand up to Limbaugh?
1. If you made abortion illegal tomorrow, in five years the female populus of jails in this nation would double. Those women who were caught getting illegal abortions would be jailed, and those women who got abortions from those not qualified to give them would put their lives in grave danger. A percentage of them would die. This is what happened before Roe Vs. Wade. Right to lifers also never speak of the children born of people who cannot afford to have children. There is already an OVERFLOW of children who live in foster care facilities, and who will never have a normal childhood with a parent of legal guardian. These kids are subject to become criminals, addicts, or WELFARE recipiants. 2. Gay Rights... How you gonna say NO to human behavior? You live in a country that has over ONE MILLION people in prisons and jails. So now you want put a limit on what gay people can do LEGALLY? Good luck with that. What you gonna do when the jails stack up with gays? 3. Free healthcare? Sorry. You do not seem to understand that there is no such a thing a Free Healthcare. NOBODY has proposed FREE healthcare, and NOBODY in the Senate is voting on FREE healthcare. What is being proposed is healthcare provided by the government paid for by a large pool of Americans as an option to those companies who CONTROL the healtcare system. A system that railroads citizens via price and availablity. I love the fact that those on the political right seem not to be informed of used to using COMMON sense when it comes to issues that affect us all. This is a society that professes freedom for all who live here. Yet these wonderful people tell us that we should be free from Gays having the same freedoms that straight people do. That we should force women to have babies that cannot be properly raised, and that the HUMAN right to live without pain should not be addressed by the most powerful nation on the earth. To all of you who raise this arguement against me, alow me to do this... What if I had NEVER met you, and went to the press and called all your mothers... WHORES? Would you be outraged? Sure! You call MY President the most vile things and compare him to Hitler. YOU DID NOT COMPARE GEORGE BUSH TO HITLER. May I remind you that George Bush committed FOUR THOUSAND American lives to a lie and BILLIONS of dollars to it in the process. Not one of you will call him HITLER! One year in office and to you Barack Obama is the biggest scurge in American History. A claim so over the top that it boggles the imagination. Like a total stranger calling your mother a whore! Where is your sense of patriotism? Where is your sense of inclusion? Is your hate so great, is your sense of fairness so clouded by it, that you would compare the President of the United States to the executioner of MILLIONS of people, while he pledges to save the lives of MILIONS of your countrymen. This is vomit inducing. I compared Obama to Jesus because somebody called Obama "MY Massiah." I countered with the fact that the ONE Massiah this earth has ever known was reviled by those he was sent to save. Call him what you want... Birthers Deathers Tea Baggers Desperation. A desperate lot of people motivated by ignorance, hate and racism. I shall remind you that the consensus of Americans who ELECTED Obama did so LEGALLY. He is not surrounded by Marxists, Socialists, Communists or Facists, but Americans. And you fail to realize that those who surround him are committed to turing around a country that was headed into a brick wall at 100mph, by men who were more concerned with their "place in history" than the best interests of the common American. If there is a God, Barack Obama will not only be succeessful for me, but for you as well. NO, Bush lives on for the over 100 thousand people who left their houses in New Orleans who have not returned. Bush lives on for the parents, wives, husbands, children and friends of the over 4000 servicemen and women who died in a lie waged over a LIE in Iraq. Bush lives on in thousands of families who were evicted from their homes due to preditory lending practices. The result of the deregulation of banks. (You can also thank Phil Gramm). Bush lives on in a country where in the eight years he was in office he did NOTHING to address issufficient education, infrastructure, and insufficient HEALTHCARE for all Americans. You may be happy with the legacy of GW Bush, or you may be an extreemist who wishes now to blame the last decade on a president who has been in office only a year. Problem is, that many of the people you say this too are SMARTER than you are. Their names are TUCKER, not SUCKER. You are the goofy, the inane, the loon who wants everybody to believe that this record deficit, that these two wars, that this healthcare crisis, that this America is something that happened overnight. You pay taxes? There are alot of people who pay taxes who are uncomfortable with the current situation. But to go down the road over the last TEN years and actually find out how the US Governemnt turned a budget SURPLUS into the largest DEBT in US history is something they totally wish to ignore. I imagine you are against "Big Government," right? Under the previous administration, the US government GREW by a fourth! We prosicuted TWO wars under GW Bush, and in the last year of his second term the US economy was on the verge of economic collapse. Who lied to you? Who put us in an illegal war that added BILLIONS of American dollars to ALREADY record debt? The same war that took over 4 THOUSAND American lives in the process? That was Obama? Did the wizzard just give you a memory last week, or is the water in Escondito full of toxisity that clouds your ability to recall anything other than Sarah Palin's bustline? Lies? Between Bush, Cheney, Rumsfield, Rice, Libby, Rove, Gonzales and the rest of the Gang who couldn't shoot straight, we have enough governmental blunders to make a blooper real from now till Captain James T. Uh... Where do I start with you? Hitler... Could Hitler REALLY happen in a government and country grounded in the the US Constitution? No. Could a BLACK MAN even as President of the United States rally the US military against millions of white citizens who own guns? No. Fear is you problem. Fear is the great problem of white people in this land, full of racists who don't like the idea of a Black man being anything short of a trash collector. What is a Massiah? Simply... An anointed being. The filling of God's spirit puts the anointed in a position to make the world a better place by directing his hands towards worldly endeavors blessed by devine association. A massiah cannot be "MY" massiah if anointed by God. That makes him YOUR massiah as well. The problem with being a massiah is that it does not absolve him from having agents of evil lined up against him. Jesus had MORE than his share of enemies. They faught against him with slander and various schemes to discredit his mission. A mission anointed by God himself. Pardon me for point out the obvious here, but God is a genious. A being so heavy intelectually, that even guys with PHD's can't figure him out. There is good and there is evil and God allows you to figure out for yourself on which side you wish to support. My point... History is FILLED with good men who have been spat on, lied on, beaten, reviled, injured and ultimately KILLED due to their leadership of JUST causes. Why would men of power rail against a movement that would reduce the debt, provide healthcare for millions of people who do not have it, and generally allow this country to live up to its creed? Profit. And even if an anointed being leads the charge against profit over humanity, he would have to realize that the agents of evil would line up against him, call him Hitler and compare his cruisade to the NAZI final solution. Barack Obama is not Jesus, but understand that if a massiah can be killed for healing the sick, for feeding the hungry, for educating the ignorant, then the agents of evil can do the same for any mere mortal. Look, I would associate a few emotions that come to me when I happen to hear the Queens of Comedy speak. Fear and or terror are not two of them. People do not fear over the top retoric. They are AMAZED by it, because it takes a lot of guts to tell the American people some of this stuff, challenging their COMMON SENSE in the process. Throw out all the crapp you want, hoping that somethign sticks to the wall. This is what the right wing has become. No lie is too outrageous, no insult too grand. Just sling it and people blinded by hate will accept it as truth. This is the base of the Republican Party. The gullable haters who will accept anyting anti-progressive and anti-Obama. You don't have to sell tickets to this crowd, they are life-long lunitics. The Queens bring sex appeal to the party. What I do not understand is why Washington has become a place where someone can DISTORT the truth into an absolute like Wilson did and become a hero for it. The POSSIBILITY that illegals could get healthcare is as likely as us sending another 70,000 troops into Afghanistan. Both are POSSIBLE, but the probability is unlikely. Joe Wilson made is sound like an absolute, and for some people that's all you need to brand Obama as a liar. Opportunist Joe Wilson is a far cry from LEADER Joe Wilson. And understand this... You do NOT call the President of the United States of America a liar on the POSSIBILITY that something might happen. When you do what he did, he better have the facts to back it up. The day after this happened I looked at this weasels face during his half-assed appology and I saw a guy who realized that he had just f'd up. It was only after the lunatic fringe came to his aid, when he started puffing his chest out like he had just bagged Angelina Jole! Any fool can stand in a crowd and call somebody a liar without proof. Wilson did not count on cameras catching him doing it. He did not realize that a joint session of Congress actually REQUIRES a certain amount of decorum. I doubt if the idiot can spell the word. He certainly cannot EXECUTE the practice. Independant fact checkers like FACT CHECK.ORG and POLITIFACT the day AFTER Joe Wilson's act of stupidity DENIED that the bill contained any such provision. Your arguement is not with me. It is with those organizations that routinely VERIFY information contained in bills and amendments. I now officially tire of your LIES. And now that you know where to go to verify the TRUTH that Obama told, I doubt that you will do so, because to do so would take some ammunition from the gun that just backfired on you. Continue your hate, built on lies trumped up by people who could not care less about the healthcare of Americans. Joe Wilson is not your friend. He could not care less about you IF you are indeed the common man. And yet you pimp your integrity out to him and those of his ilk as if he were actually honorable enough to do right by you. Its pathetic. This is what hate does. It allows you to sleep in bed with dogs, wondering why the next morning you itch from flea bites. I would also imagine that you would be silly enough to blame the itch on Obama as well. Oh and another thing... Let's take half of the wins Petty had away. He would still have more wins than Earnhardt, second only to David Pearson, who many consisder the greatest driver ever. A man who over half of his career drove for the Wood Brothers who did not campaign for the year long championship. I have heard this arguement from many people who did not witness Petty race. Many of these people do not look at the competition that Petty beat, guys with names like Allison, Yarborough, Yarborugh, Pearson, Johnson, Roberts, Mahalic, Elliott, N.Jarrett, Issac, Parsons, Labonte, Waltrip, Wallace, Bonnett, Gant, Baker, Richmond, Scott, Lund and Earnhardt. You may say that he had the best equipment. I could counter by telling you that he BUILT the cars he won in, making him de-facto crew chief on at least one forth of all of his wins. You do not make excuses for greatness. Greatness is what it is. NOTHING come easy in this world when everyone you compete against wants, it and are talented in their own right. Here's the problem with your questions... The records are in the books. The CIRCUMSTANCES by which championships and races are won, are not a matter of record. That is why there was no asteresk put by Roger Maris' former record of 61 homeruns in one season, and why there is no asterisk behind Barry Bonds record of career homeruns. Records are absolute. It is not the purpose of record books to argue. They present raw, cold facts. You either accept them or you don't but you cannot change the numbers, you cannot change history. You tell me that Petty ran more races, I can tell you that he ran for less money. For every point made by one, there is another that can be made by the next guy. That is one of the reasons why sports is so widely enjoyed. I cannot pit Jack Johnson against Muhammad Ali. I cannot compare Jim Brown to Barry Sanders. What I can do is say that all of them were great. I can also say that he who has the MOST should be considered FIRST to be the best. When you have 200 wins, 127 poles, seven championships and NOBODY has MORE in any category, you are Richard Petty... And ONLY Richard Petty. (Nov 18, 2009 | post #539)
