Is it wrong for an unmarried couple to live together?

Now a days you cant tell if a couple is married or not. Most people who have lived together for a while introduce each other as thier husband or wife. So if it doesnt matter to them it shouldnt matter to any one else. Marriage is a symbol of commitment. But not the only one.  (Sep 11, 2009 | post #9)

Jesus was born in either 5 or 6 B.C., as Herod set an upper age limit of 2 years for the infants to be slain. So, on this evidence alone, the current method of numbering the years since the birth of Jesus is in error by at least 4 years, and perhaps as much as 5 years. So if we were to correct for this error, 1996 would more accurately be numbered as no less than 2000 A.D., although even this may be off by as much as a year or so. In any case the year 2000 (as we are currently counting) was clearly not exactly 2000 years from the birth of Christ. So Im not sure as to where some one got 2011 from.  (Sep 11, 2009 | post #605)

For the atheist: Let's say you get your wish and decondition someone from their religious faith. Now the person is drowning in a lack of context, in the perceived/real meaninglessness of life. Do you care about their anguish? If so, what kind of life vest do you offer? If not, what makes your position (based on rationality), superior to religion (based on existential relief)? Some people have a real need for meaning, for a story that breathes meaning into thier lives. For the rest, that need can be as real and urgent as the need for food and water, especially when confronted with an existential crisis. Religion is one well-worn way to meet that need. There are many many other ways to create existential meaning, but religion - the story that some vastly powerful being created you and everything else, and has a will that must be divined - is a powerful draw.  (Sep 11, 2009 | post #2992)

ITs black and white.. Obama was NOT right for opening his mouth on this one. Especially since he didnt know ALL the facts. The Man was abuse loud and be disorderly.. It shouldnt matter who or what color his skin is. He was arrest on those charges. If he hadnt been a dink in the first place NON of it would of happend.
